nung college ako, i used to collect these cards.
favorite ko yung rookie cards ni Allen Iverson...always syang kapresyo ni Michael Jordan sa Becket...
kayo ang mga collection nyo?

haha! buhay pa cards ko! 90s pa to! haha.
jordan ang koleksyon ko, pero meron ding ibang 90s stars and some thrash cards. :-D
tanong: since 90s pa tong mga jordan cards ko, tumataas ba ang value nito? parang vintage na rin kasi to. wala kasi akong beckett at di ko na alam ang kalakaran ng NBA cards sa panahon ngayon. sabi nga ng iba, laos na daw to.

ang alam ko nag-a-appreciate ang value ng mga card as time goes by. lalo na si MJ...ofcourse dapat mint condish...

ako dati mahilih ako magcollect kaya lang dati, wala lang sakin mga cards ko kaya hindi na siya mint. ang best ko na siguro is yung jersey card ko ni kenyon martin nung nasa nets pa siya. nakuha ko pa talaga siya sa booster pack kaya sayang sayan ako! dati ko pa kasi gusto magkaroon ng jersey card eh.

last 1997 eh 40 dollars ang value nun.. eh hanggang ngayon ingat na ingat ko

i have a $20 michael jordan card. some Shaq, allen iverson and kobe bryant, garnett rookie cards. dami pa iba. my uncle once gave me some old school cards, mga larry bird, magic johnson, clyde drexler, julius erving, abdul jabar, at iba pa kaya ako nagstart.
dami ako grant hill, kalahating binder, hehe. yung isang kalahati, jason kidd. sayang yung mga penny hardaway kong cards, bilis bumaba value. dami ko ring ganun.
ewan ko kung ano na value nila ngayon.
nag stop ako at lumipat magic the gathering kasi mas na eenjoy ko makipaglaro kaysa tinitignan lang. i think basketball cards have higher value.

dati nakakuha ako ng rookie card ni jordan yung reissue sa fleer. pero pinatrade ko at pinabaryahan :-D

naitago ko na lang, Rookie card ni Iverson, SLAM Rookie card ni Stephon.. sayang yung Shaq ko na BEAM TEAM. :|

I was a heavy collector 13 years ago... Some of my coolest cards were the following:
Rookie cards of Gary Payton (Fleer) Jason Kidd (Skybox), Grant Hill (Skybox) and Juwan Howard (Topps)...
My most precious card was a Topps Finest Gold Autographics Rookie Card (unpeeled) of Kobe Bryant (1997 ata ito)... Worth $480 sa Beckett... :-o
No joke... Ayun, naanod lang lahat nung bumaha sa amin sometime 2000... :cry:

sayang yung collection ko ng penny dati, isang binder nadin yun kaso pinatrade ko sa isang set ng magic cards. nakakahinayang pag naiisip ko :oops:
naaalala niyo ba dati yung fun facts ni grant hill na extra si jordan na naka number 45? mjo my price siya dahil lang kay andon si jordan. mga $2 yata :-D

kinolekta ko nun eh shaq. Ang pinakamalupit sa collection ko eh yung SPX na may signature ni Shaq. Di ko na alam kung magkano ngaun yun. Di ko na rin alam kung saan ko naitago. :|

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!i still got my collection of michael jordans...to count it of, mga 3 fillers nlng xa ng 9 pockets n lalagyn nuon remember....kinumpis kc un album ko ng michael jordan tpos ndi n binalik ng teacher ko,badtrip....alm kon nmn n wala ng halaga ngayon un NBA cards pero its a great thing n nkaipon ako ng mamahaling cards.... :mrgreen:

naalala ko before, sina penny at grant hill, ang value ng card nila is always half ng kay jordan. pero ngayon siguro wala ng value... sana nag retain yung value nila nung malakas pa sila.
sayang yung autographed card ni Kobe, ground_zero. kasi today aside from Lebron, Kobe has i think the highest value sa present Beckett.
btw, sino bang meron ditong Beckett na updated?
sino ba mas mataas ang value, Kobe or Lebron?

wala akong malupit na mga NBA cards although mayroon akong kaunting collection ng mga rookie cards ni Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Chris Webber, Eddie Jones at Grant Hill. Meron rin nga pala akong high school card ni Kevin Garnet...hehe :-D

Honestly nakakatawa itong sa akin, nakakuha ako ng Upper Deck David Robinson. Tapos hologram yung logo. Eh wala akong alam sa mga cards na yan dahil nakiuso lang ako non since everyone is doing it. Nung fieldtrip namin (2nd year highschool ako), itrinade ko sa Stephon Marbury card plus pera, I think it was 200 pesos. Naangasan lang ako sa porma ni Marbury. Pagkaswap namin tawa ng tawa mga kaklase ko sa bus dahil ang mahal daw pala nun. Langya!

I like the inserts but I'm more of a completist, he he he. I remember to have debut cards of promising rookies then (Jerry Stackhouse, Allen Iverson, Kevin Garnett, Kobe and Shaq). Now, where are those....

this thread reminds me of my HS and college days... :-D unfortunately nabenta ko lahat ng mga NBA cards ko from the '90s, which weren't well-maintained anyway...tamad kasi akong bumili ng lalagyanan ng cards porke't puro mga "common" ang nakukuha ko. but i do remember having rookie cards of jason kidd and chris webber...and a certain boston celtics center named eric montross. :lol: never would've guessed na magiging bano siya sa NBA. pati si vin baker, i may have had a rookie card of his back then, way before he became fat and drunk...

May nakita ako sa isang online classifieds, Collector's Choice 95 - 96 complete set. 500 petot lang. Hehe.

Siguro pinaka pricey ko na is yung 2001 Game used floor card ni A.I.
MVP year :-D and lone Finals appearance. :-(

I used to buy cards around 1993 till 1996, then I started buying again 2003 till 2007. I just kept them although I got good finds. It really fun collecting cards as a hobby.

penny hardaway collection ko dati,mga year 95-96. dati nakakuha ako ng revision michael jordan rookie card (fleer) ung kulay red,blue. pinatrade ko at pinabaryahan ko ng puro penny but sad to say naitrade ko penny collection for a whole deck of magic cards. so much regret.

Lots of hobbyists there. They schedule gatherings for trading. Some of them bring Beckett price guides with them. Some offer minimal fee so you can access their price database online.
