It could've been good to make a hardtail Squier JM. Hell, I wouldn't mind a Jaguar version too even if I think it would be redundant considering the Jagmaster is there. All I'm saying is that Strat jack is ugly as butt.

was really surprised when i got the guitar, sakiko from ishibashi had different descriptions 'bout it pero it looked brand new.

BTW, i can make spacesuits out of the bubblewrap it came with..good for 5 persons, haha!

How do you guys honestly feel about buzzstops? I like how they look cosmetically but does it keep the strings from jumping out of their saddles? Will I have to file the slots deeper or change saddles altogether?

it's a good upgrade, you don't need to file your saddles for them strings not to jump, the break angle is enough to keep them in place..though the trem feels a bit stiff but i don't use it that much.

even without the buzzstop, a good set-up within a good guitar will keep the strings in place.

Think My Bloody Valentine or Sonic Youth-type tremolo abuse. What do I have to do that doesn't involve a tuneomatic (radius issue) or a Mastery?

heavy gauge strings and a good set-up or a mustang bridge, otherwise get a mastery

the buzzstop is more cheaper and i think you'll get the hang of the feel with it installed.

i still wish my JM was white, haha..can't have 'em all anyway.

Magkano inabot sa Ishibashi ng customs duties? Did you get MIJ?

let's just say tax duties was waaaayy lower than i expected tapos nung kinuha ko yung guitar, binulungan pa'ko nung andun na pwede pa daw yun mas mababa kung di ko binayaran agad..i just winked and said "di bale, next time"

just scout the site, yung used nila eh papasa pa na brand new dito satin..i got mine still shiny and hairline scratches lang visible.

nung naginquire ako, iba yung ineexpect ko na darating..was really surprised on its condition

actually, theres a 3 day holiday coming up here and I plan to take a short trip to Beijing and scour the place for a Classic player H-H...(olympic white siguro? hahaha)....medyo halos ganun din ang price sa Jap versions...a bit pricey na feeling mo hindi pa ganun ka sulit..baka mas sulit kung sa Pinas nlang bilhin..halos price ng 2- squire Mascis...minsan kasi napapaisip ka sa practical side eh..its not worth blowing off cash sa isang brand new guitar nowadays...well see...wish me luck..pati nga yung parang Philmusic forum nila dito pinagtripan ko..kaso hirap decipher mga pinagsasabi nila..at hirap din puntahan or makipagnegotiate..dami din ng stuff na binebenta sa BBS Guitar China Classifieds ah! hahaha...haaaaaayyyy...
