unbelievably expensive. 10k for the ride, around 8k for the hats. ewan kung magkano yung crash. sa perfect pitch po meron. im thining of selling mine for higher end stuff kaso problema ko kung wala agad akong makuhanbg replacement mababakante yung drums.

Surprisingly, available ito sa Audiophile. Ewan ko lang kung meron pa.

I would guess XS20 is better, lalo na since it costs so much more. hehe. However, some like the trashy sound of B8 over the xs20.

yup, i heard b8's in a live concert once, i liked the sound and was surprised na yun pala yun b8. hehe, may nabasa lang kasi ako na mas better daw xs20's. kaya i decided to ask my fellow pinoy drummers of their opinions. hehehe. btw, magkano mga xs20's?

Medyo tight ang budget ko e, eto ung pinakamurang set na nakita ko so far.

personal set mo ba o pangharabas lang?

kung personal set mo then dont waste your money on beginner cymbals. go for professional quality even if its 2nd hand. you might be able to buy 2 cymbals with 16k but its worth every penny you pay for. just save up again to buy another one to complete a set.

my 7.50 pesos only

o nga pala i heard jb's having a clearance sale sa e.rodriguez, check it out, you might be able to score some really good zildjians there.

ps: stay away from zht, zbt, planet z...dont be tempted by the price

Actually Sir pang gigs ko sana gagamitin e.

Medyo matagal na kc me hindi nakapag drums, kaya parang newbie n naman ako sa mga accessories.

Dati I own a Fernando drum set with New Beat Zildjian Hi-hats, Schimitar Bronze 16" & 18" crash (did I spell it right?) and a Zildjian K Jazz ride.

Nung panahon na yun, I was only 17 yrs old, so choosing a cymblas is like choosing a toy for me, kung ano sa tingin ko ung maganda un ung bili ko. Not for the sound quality pero sa hitsura and syempre price din.

Now that I dont own na any drums, Im planning to buy paunti unti.

Im in a band kasi right now and compo ung tugtugan, and balak namin na mag regular gigs doing some cover tunes from John Mayer to Dishwalla.

I would like to start sana sa Bass pedal, kasi ung nasa mga studio e sobrang inclined na....pumapalo sa paa ko. Saka hirap mag groove sa bass drum. Then a picollo snare, kasi laking factor din kung malutong ung tunog nung snare e. Then afterwards...the cymblas.....then a drum set na.

Ung bang binebenta ni BAM na Gretsch picollo snare ung yellow for 5K is mura na po ba? Maganda po ba tunog nun?

Bro kung binenta mo yung New Beats mo, malaking sayang nun... Pati yung K Jazz Ride... Sayang talaga... Ok naman ang B8 kasi some pros still use them because of the trashy feel of it, thats my opinion lang... Dun naman sa snare ni Bam, mura na yun and it has a great sound, di ka lugi kung bilhin mo man yun....

Salamat sa mga suggestions mga Sir.

Di naman po me nanghihinayang sa cymbals, kasi sa church namin ko nabenta. Dati ako rin ung drummer ng praise and worship pero nung nagka-work ako every Sundays, nag quit na ako sa Praise n Worship team. Pero nakaka-attend pa naman ako kahit papaano, and in tact pa rin ung mga cymbals.

Kay sir BAM naman, 4K pa lng kc ung money ko e, di me nakadelihensya ng 1K pandagdag sa snare nya.

So SABIAN B8's are my best choice for now.

Question po ulit sa bass pedal. Which would be my best choice :

1) a cheap double peds about 3 thousand, nakita ko sa LUMANOG Raon) or

2) ka price din na branded single pedal, like the Gibraltar na nasa 3K +.

Any suggestions po, newbie ako sa double peds, I'd like to learn to use it para pampakapal sa tugtugan. Although wala kaming repertoire na me double bass drumming. Or do I have to improve na lng my techniques sa single peds, and buy a good quality heavy duty single peds na lng?

get that 3k gibraltar, i have one too hehehe. yung ibang cheap pedals lalo na sa lazer, sobra yung lag nung beater. the cheap sonor pedal (2k ata) has good feel but wont last a year.

kung double peds, dont buy gibraltar kasi konti na lang yung price difference nya sa pearl at tama. maybe not pearl but definitely closer to tama.

there's nothing wrong if you buy a double pedal as a beginner. you can always use it a single pedal.

or you can always have both a double and single hehehe. tamad kasi ako kaya yung dw double peds ko sa bahay na lang tapos bumili ako ng gibraltar single pangdala sa practice.

for the pedals..

kung me budget ka.... go for the high end ones na.

ako kasi bumili din ako ng p122tw na pearl.. oks naman sya... pero di sya gnon ka customizable tulad ng elims.

kung ako ikaw, ipon ka muna.. wag ka na bili raon double peds.. save it and buy higher ends..

masaya pa nman ako sa p122 to eh.. kaya oks lng.. matagal ko na din gamit to..

go for - pearl elims and tama IC. dw, masyadong mahal.
