Line 6 Sonic Port (with sound clips)

Last month, i was fortunate enough to be able to acquire the Line 6 Sonic Port. Basically its a guitar interface for your iOS device that connects via the Lightning/30pin connector.



Here is a recording that i did using this interface. Apps i used are Line 6 Mobile Pod (free), AudioBus ($4.99) and Garageband ($4.99)

(listening with earphones/headphones is recommended although masyado malakas yung bass. di ko na mix ng maayos.  )

What i do like about it: Does not feedback (at 80% iphone volume) when using high gain amp models unlike interfaces that connects sa microphone input. Multiple Outputs (Headphone, Line Level/Amp).

What i don't like about it: ANG LAKAS UMUBOS NG BATTERY.

Bro try Multitrack DAW. Recently got it and much convenient than Garageband for me. How are the amp sims sa L6 mobile? Was thinking about getting a sonic port for those before but now Im getting the new JamUp plug (black).

For me...ok naman yung amp sims ng L6 Mobile Pod. Gusto ko yung mga clean tone presets. Yung distorted tones...may mga tones na spot on, may mga tones na tunog "digital". 
Wala nga lang presets for bass. Pag bass nga pala nirerecord, Jam Up XT ginagamit ko with the Sonic Port. Bumili ako ng bass expansion pack. I'll try to do a side by side comparison ng VOX AC30 amp sim ng L6 with Jam Up XT. 

Magaganda nga yung reviews na nabasa ko doon sa Multitrack DAW. Na engganyo kasi ako sa touch instruments nung Garageband kaya yun ung binili ko muna. Pero since dumadami nanaman yung apps sa Audiobus...baka mag upgrade na rin ako in the near future. hehe

Sir na try nyo na Apogee Jam? Ano kaya mas okay? And dito mo ba nabili yung Sonic Port or sa States? Thanks.

I'm assuming kaparehas lang sya ng Apogee Jam, iRig HD and Ampkit Link HD. Lahat naman sila naka connect sa Lightning/30pin connector. Ang main advantage lang siguro ng Sonic Port ay yung Inputs and Outputs nya. 2 inputs (Guitar and Line In) and 2 outputs (Headphone and Balanced Line Out) nung Sonic Port. Yung iba...Guitar Input and Headphone Out lang

Also, ung Line 6 Mobile Pod...sa Sonic Port (or Line 6 Mobile In) mo lng pwede gamitin. I think yung Apogee Jam hindi pwede sa Mobile Pod.
