i've tried all of those guitars except the bacchus.

for me its a tie between Cort g260 and pacifica ( which ever of the two is cheaper get it ). Stay away from the squier bullet that's a crappy guitar. the squier california doesn't match the price range of the others since it is more of a low end model. A better comparison for the Cort g260 and pacifica is a Squier standard or a squier affinity model.

Sirs help lang.

I'm torn between 3 choices for a better boost pedal:

A. Hardwire CM-2 Tube Overdrive  - Sabi ok daw to (Glorified Bad Monkey daw).. medyo affordable for the features and T-Bypass.
B. Ibanez JD9 - Looks to be an affordable choice also, pero kadalasan may popping sound issues daw when engaging it.
C. Maxon OD808 - Legendary, Pricey... Not sure if its true bypass.  Not sure kung baka overrated lang to eh.

Need the OD to boost a Catalinbread DLS MKiii to somehow bring the highs and mids out pag solo time.  Nasubukan ko pang boost so far is my old rundown SD2 on mode 1, drive at zero tone at noon and level at max, so far ok siya.  Iniicip ko ano pa kaya ang improvement sa mapipili kong new boost ped.


Ano Kaya?  Help! Thanks!

If A is TS based, then pedal A & C might sound the same when using them as clean boosts, IMO of course. The difference of both pedals can be heard once you crank the gain/drive knob. 

Can't go wrong with a Bad Monkey.

Thank you Sir.  Oks pala Bad Monkey?  Dami kong nakikita kasi na matindi daw Tone suck and noise supposedly, dunno if its true.  Among the three, the monkey sure is affordable though.

a brand new pacifica cost 13k, so i could say it's a good deal depending on the condition. Cort g260 vs turser? go for the Cort. Anyways gusto mo ba talaga strat? madami sa classifieds na 2nd hand good deal around your price range i can pm you some options if you want.

Don't have one but my bandmate uses one. It's a good overdrive for boost purposes.

Don't know much about how good the BM's buffer is, these things (buffers) are always rig dependent. Best to try it before buying so you can hear if it causes tone suck in your rig.

GT100 because of more functionalities. ME80 for ease of use.

but IMHO, try looking at Line6 multi's instead. mas maganda ang HD series at M series ni line 6 kesa kay boss. unless maglabas na ng new technology si boss.

Both JB and lazer have EHX products. thou they carry different models and pedals which is only available to each one of them.

TC Electronics Hall for me thou it's much more expensive.
