looks like there's no versatility as to where you put the pedals..

Apparently, the design has been around for a long time: http://www.sleishman.com/html/history/ and the site claims that it's the first double pedal design.

I wonder why the design went the way of the pedal na de-tulak yung beaters (instead of yung de-hila, which is common now). Usability issues, probably.

here's a video of the product...

for me, i think that this design indeed has the precise and equal balance feel since it has that "mirror action". the left side of the pedal is the same as the right one.

it now depends on the dexterity of your feet.

another vid of it in action...

correct bro, read about this in a modern drummer review of a sonor double pedal with a similar design to this (can't remember which issue though)

mukhang adjustable din sya, check mo yung review dito, adjustable daw yung baseplate

True. I play my double pedal outside not on the inside(leftside ng hi-hat). I like my Hi-hat to be closer to my snare.
I think sonor and another company made similar products. hehehehe.

This to me looks kinda "unreliable". hahahaha. Sorry. I'm a Cobra user

i think this is the Sonor double peds you're talking about that has the same concept...

not bad, still has that "mirror action". adjustable on both sides.

parang mas ok dito yung traditional design dahil sa transfer ng force from your foot papunta sa beaters

---

parang yung traditional is

main pedal -> beater
slave -> shaft -> beater

tapos yung sonor na ganito is

main -> shaft -> beater
slave -> shaft -> beater

just my 1c  :lol:

if you want a traditional double pedal that has no delays on the slave - buy axis
