yes i'm back hehehe

just want to share something "usual" hehe

almost all of us already know it but some are just able to do it

maybe because its time consuming or something else hehe

most logo, when erased leaves a noticeable mark that you can trace
note: bigger logos are much easier to restore :)
small logos are more complicated,.. just like this one hehe
well this one is a heck of time to work with

BTW heres the materials i had used
♦quick dry paint
♦ponted and flat edge bamboo stick
♦flatted point pen

Pics are self explanatory

(PS. not perfect but its much better than before   almost same when compared with the original in "Far View" hehe)

aging of cymbals are most prefer'ed here,.. most of us likes the sound of cymbals darker ,dry (tama ba?) hehe
please add more sound definition

all i know is we let our cymbal to age, letting the dust to thickened hehe,.. so i use a baby powder on it,..

it also protect my cymbal from my moisture'd hands when playing and muting hehe
put some amount rub and your done hehe,.. its a dusty cymbal with a nice smell!  :-o hehehe

ok yung logo restoration technique ah! mahirap nga lang kapag pasmado yung kamay mo hehe! meron yatang available decals though hindi sa cymbal model kundi cymbal brand lang AFAIK, at least less hassle na yun! curious question, how dry could the cymbal get using baby powder? curious ako kasi yung sabian nag-experiment dati by burying cymbals underground, thus changing the cymbal's sound so to speak. dust is capable in aging a cymbal pero it would take time (and quantity) though right? so madaming beses ko ba dapat lagyan ng powder or best na dust mismo na lang gamitin ko? hehe! thanks bro!

@ sir waya_drum: never been tried po sa ibang models,.. but i think kaya po,.. "mungyo PAINT marker" po ginamit ko,.. IDK where to buy ,.. bigay lang po kasi ni dad nyahehee  :-D

@ sir Riff_66603: hehe grabe po hassle pag maliit hehe,.. wah san nakakabili ng decals?? i want one hehe,.. lagyan ko ng sabian logo rock crash ko nyahehehe

about sa sound,.. nangalahati yung "wahh" nya and yung splash parang naging fast splash??  :-)

@ sir  drummaniac: ganun langpo talaga pag bored ahhehe  :-D

Naisip ko lang mga sir since you are using paint. If in case na pasmado kamay niyo try niyo munang mag print tapos i-cut niyo part na may ink then gamitin niyong pang trace yung ginawa niyong pattern.

Nice work dude!

stencil, i tried na yun ,.. yes also nice idea, but sa korte ng cymbal bow mahihirapan ilapat, laluna kung mga crashes at splash,..

sa flat ride lang siguro no problem yun hehe  :-)

haha love na love ehh

BTW kung quick dry paint po gagamitin mo, iwas lang po sa logo to be painted, baka po kumalat kapag tinamaan ng stick repeatedly
