sulit yung fernando sa 17k w/o cymbals, pag gusto mo smaller set pwede rin sonor force 505, 18k dati nung sale sa jb w/o cymbals.

exactly,when you put a riser the sound change. you dont put it for looks. sbi nya jazz kit,so i assume he wants to play jazz in a bop kit.

Afaik, Bop is a style of jazz. I've never heard of a standard bop kit.

Most basic jazz kit (4-piece) are all the same; 14" snare, 10" or 12" hanging tom, with 14" or 16" floor tom, and 18" bass drum. Cymbals are usually dark (Ks or HHs); 14" hihats, a crash, and a ride.
Its the standard kit configuration used for most style of Jazz music :-)

yes.there are so called standard drum sizes for a bop kit,as you said you dont use a 22 or 24 bass drum for bop. diff types of music need diff kind of instruments :?
