siguro para sakin. sa technicality. mas technical ang DT. sa symphony x naman. much more sila sa neoclassical or symphonic metal. pero malinaw na iba yung style nilang dalawa. sa DT kasi. may pagkaglam yung dati nilang mga album. tapos minsan may pagkalovesong talaga. minsan may pure na pure progmetal. siguro din dala ng katandaan na. medyo matatanda na din kasi DT eh.

pero anyways, parehas ko silang trip eh... may songs ang Sym X na maganda... mas maraming songs ang DT na maganda..

minsan nkakasawa yun boses ng DT, nkakasawa naman yung pgkasymphony ng SX lalo na yung lumang mga albums nila:)

i think malayo ang comparison nilang dalawa. ibang iba ang style nila. operatic kasi ang dating ni labrie. kaya sya olats sa live kasi nadamage boses nya dati. pansinin mo once in a live time daming piyok. both are good vox its just labrie's style is more classical than russel.

Not sure about that conclusion with LaBrie. I remember seeing them at the most recent tour with Opeth a few months ago. James was spot-on with his notes and delivery. I don't listen to the band's CDs that regularly anymore, but I'll have to say that James has been consistently doing well during the last few times I've seen the band perform after the Metropolis 2000 tour.

Hintayin na lang ninyo yung bagong DVD ng Dream Theater next month. It's going to chronicle the most recent time they went on the road for Systematic Chaos. Hindi siya performance DVD. More along the lines na documentary siya. You'll see how training with an opera coach has paid off for JLB.

Nabasa ko sa isang guitar magazine na sabi ni Alexi Laiho na ang tunog ng DT is "super lame"

I like DT but since mas marami silang mga balad ang dating,which is nakakantok that makes SX stand up from DT. They are are both good and skillfull bands with different style. It is just a matter of preference if you like more on rock or metal. But for me,I'm more on a metal side,so I prefer SX!

DT ako. More diverse and dynamic ang tugtugn nila. By this I mean na sa sobrang skilled nila, they can do anything when it comes to playing. Ang kakulangan lang nila siguro is their stage presence. Lalo na si John P. Parang robot pero astig! Kaya ko sila mas gusto kasi para sakin, mas magaling na musicians ung members of DT compared to SX. SX kasi although heavy and shreddy, parang kapos sa musical side. Opinion ko lang naman to mga kapatid. hehe. Pareho ko din sila gusto, only DT wins the contest for me.
