Can't help but read through these posted discussions about electronically contrived music. The general term would be electronic music and all the performers/bands mentioned in this discussion belong to different sub-categories under either dance or electronic music. Some bands mentioned only has elements pertaining to the use of electronic instruments together with traditional ones to complete a yet another blend that adds to the endless progression of music through generations. Techno in the other hand is just another sub-category having its own discipline in producing distinct sounding electronic music labeled as it is. The same goes with everything else.
