1. file is 1080p
2. "Full HD" means a display with 1080 lines
3. "HD" means a display with at least 720 lines

I have a rip of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn from YouTube, 1080p. Of course may artifacts yan dahil sa compression, but overall the quality is superb. In all regards sharp yan, maganda naman ang quality. Exactly how you would expect a full HD display to behave. Meron din kami 40" LG HDTV, 720 lines lang, which in any metric, inferior to the 21" full HD display (bigger screen with lower resolution, effectively). In short, dapat walang effect yung resolution (Full HD vs HD) ng display mismo sa quality ng image, nor should the player, because if anything, hindi lang nya ipplay yung file mo.

Ang naiisip ko lang talaga either:
1. sobrang walang kwenta yung codec na ginagamit ng 32" TV mo (which is highly unlikely), or
2. pangit yung quality nung display mismo (low contrast ratio, low refresh rate, ghosting, etc), or
