guys , may tanong ako ayaw ko na gumawa ng thread dito nalang. i rerecommend nyo ba sakin ang 50mm 1.8 ng canon? tight budget kasi dahil bibili din ako ng flash at battery grip . optional naman pwede di na ako bibili ng 50mm at mag iiopon nalang ako para L lens na

depends on where you will use the 50mm f1.8... basta ako, i never leave home without my 50mm... next to the kit lens, the 50mm was my 2nd lens purchase...

your decision to buy a flash is a good one by the way.

the 50mm is great for portraits..ganda ng bokeh.. but medyo hirap for group pics na medyo madaming tao :)
maganda din syang pang street photography since it is small and light, plus its fast at 1.8...

Para sa mga protrait shots, mas accessible yung shutter button (I guess). Hindi ko mashado ginagamit yung batt grip lalo na pag outdorr shoot. Masyadong mabigat na para sakin. Inadvise din yun samin sa 1 wedding workshop na pang studio lang daw ang batt grip. Ang bigat na nun tapos ang bitbit mo pa mga telephoto lens. Nakasubok nako nung 7D+battgrip+2 batts+70-200mm L. 45mins palang, ayaw ko na, hahaha!

may paglalagyan yung pinky mo pag gamit mo is yung mga maliliit na bodies.
better handling since may added weight hindi misyadong magalaw yung kamay.
hindi ganun kabilis ma drain yung battery since dalawa silang magtutulungan para ma power yung camera.
