i noticed the heating up too after a couple of hours use. pero di pa naman ako umaabot sa amoy sunog na. i really dig my ZT amp too! it's loud enough for indoor gigs. maganda ang bato ng tunog, i just noticed thou that when cranked up, it's doesn't serve as a good onstage monitor.

I hope hindi umabot yung lunchbox niyo ng sobrang init. yung mga unang gamit ko kasi sa kanya hindi naman talaga umabot na sobrang init, recently lang nagkaganun pero di pa naman sya bumibigay. I dunno if it's the dirt pedal I use. Sa barber smallfry at BB plus kasi dati di naman sya umaabot ng sobrang init but when I started using the shredhead I discovered that it heats up so much. Do you think the dirt pedal I'm using is causing it because it's high gain? ang ganda pa naman ng tunog ng shredhead sa lunchbox. :-(

yup. normal lang daw yun sabi ng customer support nila. ZTs daw can operate for 10 hrs straight w/o overheating.
ganda nitong ZT CLUB. May room type reverb, bass and treble eq tsaka gain. Yung gain niya hindi full on overdrive e. The more you crank the gain the more "tube sag" you get.
AND IT IS VERY LOUD!!! Maganda tapon ng tunog. Pag nag gig ka sa maliit na bar, volume 3 palang solb na. Pedal friendly din. Kung di ka pa solb dun, may effects loop siya. Ang maganda dito puwede mo i-expand yung capability ng amp. Bukod sa puwede mo siyang iconnect sa cabinet via the speaker out, puwede mo din ikabit sa ibang amp, speaker, PA o house system gamit yung headphone amp. May dedicated volume yung headphone (hindi katulad ng ibang amps na auto mute ang speakers pag nasa headphone out ka) at puwede pa naka on ang speaker habang naka saksak ka sa headphone out. Puwede mo gamitin pang monitor habang nakasaksak ka sa cabinet pag outdoor gig. Practical gigging amp talaga ito. Kasya dalawa sa trunk ng tsikots.
Problema ko lang dito, malaki yung siwang sa grille. Madali pasukin ng dumi at puwede mabutas yung driver. Puwede mo naman dikitan siguro ng DIY grille cloth sa harap niya.

Doubletrouble & I tested his ZT lunchbox with a shredhead a few months back... this amp is surprisingly loud! Nope, it doesn't fart.. at first I was expecting it too because of the small size of the speaker...but it really doesn't fart even under palm-muted riffs.

Of course it does. Max it out with a Shredhead. Expected for a 6.5" driver. Clean tones are great too which I really like. Yeah. So I plug it into a borrowed 2x12 avatar cab with vintage 30's and a Vovox 3ft speaker cable. Yep. Epic.
Can't wait to get the Jet City cabs I ordered and the rest of the ZT line.
I'll also try it with other cabs that my friend has when he's available. Dr. Z 2x12, Bogner 4x12, /13 2x12.
Also expecting my first ever Sebastienne Chrome Dr. Boogie and will do a demo with the Lunchbox soon. \m/
EDIT: Get a lunchbox and try it with a DIY 2x12 or an imported one.

it doesn't fart at low volumes pero syempre when you crank it up di na kaya yung chug, chug na sound. if your from pque you can try mine or try turi's.

What can you say about the ZT amplifiers? I own a lunchbox & I use it as my main amp. It is really loud, sounds great & cuts through the mix. My only concern is the heat it generates at the back, parang plantsa ang init when you use it for a long time. I emailed ZT about this & they said it is normal & it will auto shut down naman pag sobrang init na talaga. The last time I used it nag amoy sunog siya pero hindi naman nag shut down. By the way when you use it without a dirt pedal/distortion it doesn't heat up that much. How about your lunchbox, do you experience this kind of problem also?

I play some old rock with it (Pink floyd etc.) and it does pretty well either with a Les Paul or a strat. I use it as a clean amp and use 2 Tube Drivers for gain, I also use a TC Electronics Nova Mod and Nova Delay with it and it sounds ok with these pedals. I'm not running them on the efx loop, nakakatamad mag route eh. :lol:
I have this gig on the 29th at Club Dredd and I will get to test the Club 12's capability of performing in a live setting. :-D

I got myself a Club 12 lately, and immediately got rid of my classic 30 halfstack. :lol:

Congrats! Crankin up the Gain will make it sound more tube like. Have you tried the reverb? It's so sweet! Live? Dude, this is where it will shine. The sound opens up more when you go beyond bedroom volume. It's definitely unlike other SS amps that go thin and irritating once you get louder. It sounds fuller once you go past noon.
Enjoy. Ingat lang with the grills. The holes are too big. Dust and dirt gets in too easily.

IMO, mag Club ka na lang. Kahit hindi mic'd yung amp, it stands up really well to gigging conditions, as proven kagabi by 2 Club 12 amps in a metal gig. (For those that don't know, the drummers of Mass Defect, Mortal Fear and Bane hit hard.) Mike from Mortal Fear uses a 2x12 Line6 Spider IV 150 watt amp but Bhrian, who usually gets drowned out by Mike, was heard real clear and loud by everyone in the venue. Bolt Thrower already gave his feedback. As his roadie/tech, his volume on the Club was just on 3. By the 3rd song, we had to scale it back a notch because the drummer was already complaining that it was too loud.

tol! thanks sa review! kala talaga ng mga tao praktis amp na 30Watt! :lol: lakas mo nung sat e. hehe about sa gain...kahit ilakas mo sa 12 oclock yung gain clean pa rin siya. yung gain kasi niya parang nagkakaroon ng "tube sag" characteristic habang tinataas mo. mataas pa rin headroom. mas lumalakas at tumataba din tunog habang tumataas gain hehe. nagkakaroon siya ng mild distortion pag umabot ka sa 2 oclock. Overdrive na pag 3-4 oclock.
ang baba pa pala ng volume ng VTwin mo. Marami pa masisipa! Si Daniel nag enjoy e. Pero sabi ko nga mas malakas at malinis yung quality ng tunog pag sa input kesa sa efx loop. Clean naman yung character nung amp e. Neutral siya di masyado makukulayan tunog mo pag sa front sumaksak. Very pedal friendly.

how much louder is the Club 12 vs the Lunchbox? i find that the Loudbox's clean headroom is closer to a DR or C30 (22w-30w) than the 200w advertised. when it starts clipping, it just gets more distorted, not louder. i wonder what it actually is (sa totoong buhay) for the Club 12.

It's a very technical evaluation of the Club. Distortion, real life volume, etc. Wall of text imminent but a very good read.
As for the Lunchbox comparison. I don't know how to word this one. But the Club can dish out more tones and more frequencies due to the larger driver. It's more open to my ears. But for the loudness, I can't really answer that one. Hmmmm, may illusion kasi of space in terms of sound with the Club. They may have the same loudness, but the Club "seems" louder with a booming low end and more lush mid freq. Mas mataas din headroom ng Club.

We have ZT amp CLUB 12 stock as we speak.
I've been using ZT LB for my gig aswell, the realistic average (RMS) power is 120W.. 200 is the PEAK power and shouldnt be confused with the optimum performance.
Here is the the explanation from the ZT tech support regarding some reports of buzzing.
"When playing the Lunchbox at very high volumes you must increase the treble/ high frequency the louder it gets. Because of its small size, it doesn’t represent balance frequencies so when it’s being maxed out, you are trying to move too much air. Contrary to what most people say, I thought the Club 12's clean sound is a bit dark, I then realized that when played at higher volumes (enough to be heard with a drummer) the treble really opens up. The Club 12 is single channel btw, and what's nice is when you crank up the gain, the tone remains the same unlike other amps where the top end gets more pronounced as the gain goes up. :-)

@maxi - i think the Lunchbox's clean is not that good. Meh, actually. it's too dull, sterile for my blues tastes (I"m a Fender guy). but for jazz or metal, i think it's alright.

here's the juicy part. the Lunchbox Acoustic's tone is very dependent on your basic guitar tone. if your guitar is naturally bright, then the amp will project a bright guitar. same is true with a more full-sounding guitar. but the Bass and Treble controls will definitely help even out the tone to fit your taste. contrary to the common belief that small amps lack low-end, this amp has a tight low-end and retains sparkly highs.
the Reverb is subtle and adds just enough ambiance so that the tone will not be too dry. it doesn't sound digital at all. dedicated reverb controls for instrument and vocals adds more versatility in the acoustic player's tone. if you want more, then you can add a reverb or delay pedal in the effects loop.
volume. yes. this little baby can be as loud as it can be. it can increase volume without being muddy or fuzzy AS LONG AS you can dial in a good balance between Gain, amp Master Volume and your guitar's volume.
USE:
personally, this amp suits my needs perfectly. this amp is well suited for home practice but it can hold its own in indoor bars and coffee shop-like venues. when i go to bar gigs or events, i just bring my DI/preamp and plug directly to the mixer hence i do not need a big acoustic amp.

Reverb quality is very good as it adds just enough color to the acoustic tone.

TONE:
here's the juicy part. the Lunchbox Acoustic's tone is very dependent on your basic guitar tone. if your guitar is naturally bright, then the amp will project a bright guitar. same is true with a more full-sounding guitar. but the Bass and Treble controls will definitely help even out the tone to fit your taste. contrary to the common belief that small amps lack low-end, this amp has a tight low-end and retains sparkly highs.
the Reverb is subtle and adds just enough ambiance so that the tone will not be too dry. it doesn't sound digital at all. dedicated reverb controls for instrument and vocals adds more versatility in the acoustic player's tone. if you want more, then you can add a reverb or delay pedal in the effects loop.
volume. yes. this little baby can be as loud as it can be. it can increase volume without being muddy or fuzzy AS LONG AS you can dial in a good balance between Gain, amp Master Volume and your guitar's volume.
USE:
personally, this amp suits my needs perfectly. this amp is well suited for home practice but it can hold its own in indoor bars and coffee shop-like venues. when i go to bar gigs or events, i just bring my DI/preamp and plug directly to the mixer hence i do not need a big acoustic amp.

ah mas gusto ko pa rin ang direct ako sa house sound system through the DI tapos timpla na lang sa mixer. tsaka unbalanced pa rin yung output ng lunchbox acoustic, kaya hindi din maganda for the acoustic signal.
so kung dadalhin ko ito, it means walang sound system sa venue. stand alone ko gagamitin ito.

Nice, Maxi. Personally, I would try to use this as monitor and feed a signal to the board for PA. What if you used your DI box in between this and the board just to interconnect unbalanced and balanced? Kung walang PA, of course, not a bad choice at all.

by sparkle, i take it you mean the highs?
i think the sparkle/brilliance is very dependent on the natural tone of the guitar. but the ZT's EQ knobs really help in achieving the sparkle you want. the Bass knob can also affect the "Low Mid" frequencies and the Treble knob also affects "High Mid".
however, based on what i've heard from the amp, it will really help to have a dedicated Mid knob. but again, this is just me. :-)

I may have forgotten a few but that's pretty much all of them.
the Club 12 wins because
-it's almost as loud as my previous 100W tube amps
-sounds fairly good for my use, actually it can cover most genres if you use pedals (it reacts like a Fender tube amp in terms of pedal friendliness, it's like a clean canvas that you can paint whatever color you like, it isn't as bright as the fenders though)
-it doesn't break my back when I lug it around for gigs and jams (even much more portable than the night train head!)
-it didn't break my wallet that much
-it looks really road-worthy I still haven't experienced any problems with it.
this is really, REALLY a great amp for performing musicians who prefer to bring their own amps and don't have roadies and uses pedals instead of amp drive and other effects or modeling. :-D

normal naman na umiinit siya. not a problem. pero kung talagang nag overheat mag automatically off siya to cool down. which is rare under normal operating conditions.
naranasan ko na yung auto off feature. nag plug ako sa cabinet na under the prescribed 8ohms (Kustom 2x12, stupid me). ayun nag auto shutdown after 1hr or so. after 10mins ok na.

btw, I used the Club 12 for around an hour or so last friday at freedom bar, it was almost dimed (volume at full, gain at 1 o'clock) since the guitar I used had low output, didn't shut down. mukhang wala naman akong problems sa reliability. :-D

Speakers. The Lunchbox has a 6" while the Club has a 12. Iba pa rin talaga buga ng 12" pag high gain if you're not gonna be running the Lunchbox with an extension cab.

i have it.
at nakagamit na rin ako ng roland cube60 when i thought of buying one too. unang rinig mo pa lang sa dalawa side by side, anlaki na ng difference ng transparency ng tunog much more if you plug in pedals. the club is designed as a transparent amp while the cube is designed to be a modeling amp. and as you know with modeling amps, they don't take pedals very well.
may efx send/return din club for more pedal/efx flexibility.

counter intuitive yung gain knob niya e. i set it at noon for everything except reverb. then control the "chug" from the pedals. Gain gives you more ooomph instead of giving you distortion.
the club12 has lots of low mids. So di problema ang chug.

gaya nga nung sabi ni pakoy, habang lumalakas yung club 12, nagkakadimension yung highs niya. i get my highs from the eq pedal though. that's just me. the club's highs can be fender-ish for me if i crack it wide open. and im more of a mids guy.
pero if i need it in clean passages pag direct to amp lang, di naman ako lumalagpas ng 7 sa high knob. the gain knob also can give you some "presence".

but to think about it man, one of the most priceless things about bringing a club or a lunchbox on stage, especially in a metal gig, is the "WTF IS THAT" look you get from other bands, PA guys and other people. Then you surprise them with power and tone during soundcheck. it works pretty well with metal and heavier music. if people can use peavey bandits, and line6 1x12s and manage to be loud, then you wouldn't have a problem with the CLUB. It's closed back too so the bass response is fantastic. It's a good amp with lots of mids so you can dial in a good chug.
And how many combo amps can power a 4x12 and sound just as good?
Buy one. It's one of the best solid state amps out there and the most practical too.

I've seen and heard it from previous meetups and I definitely know its loud. Pero I'm pretty concerned about its somewhat lack of character: like how a brit amp sounds brit and to a fender a fender - kaya I'm still not sold to it... yet. haha

I actually sold my Lunchbox nung nagka-Club ako. I'm just encouragin him to get the Lunchbox kasi hindi daw kaya ng budget ang Club. :-D

Wondering if you can use the ZT Acoustic as a competent keyboard/PA substitute?
if you're gonna use only 1 channel, it can be a good substitute. but if you're gonna use both channels, make sure you tweak the gain knob to achieve balance you want. based on experience, one of the signals will be distorted if not mixed well. mahihirapan yung maliit na speaker eh.

If I'm not mistaken, ang Lunchbox mo ay galing kay Dowell... Tama? If yes, ako ang first owner nun.
Anyway, may volume control yung headphone input ng Lunchbox. Itodo mo yun. Tapos timplahin mo na lang yung volume knob ng amp at gain knob.

Lunchbox with cab... good for big stages or venues that can mic both speakers to the PA. May be good for standalone use, but only for more mature bands. or jazz gigs. Those that can adjust well to the volume level the Lunchbox is limited to. as it doesn't pack the punch/thud of the club but it sounds more 'sincere' to me, if that means anything. I'd like to put at least about 10'ft of distance between the amp and the cab.
Club... is the lunchbox with ooomf and reverb. too heavy to lug around in short gigs, so it stays in my room. but a few weeks ago i brought it to the beach resort and made a ruckus from my room towards the bay... i like also to use it as my portable PA System, sorry ZT fanatics hehehe. hindi nga lang sya ganun ka ganda tunog for ipods or music players, the gain knob kinda ruins the sound. but its good and loud enough to attract people to your bonfire.
Overall, ZT's are not "good tube amp" substitutes nor do they sound organic like tube amps, but it sounds like no solid state I've ever heard specially the lunchbox. If you get your tone from your pedals and you just use your amp for clean and volume, this line of amps is perfect. i get my tube feel from my SD twin tube on my pedalboard.

The effects loop on the Club affects everything in the signal chain, Aux input included. So while that isn't great for your particular application, it is normal in that that's how the amp is built. The only real way around this is to use your effects at the front of the amp, so they'll only be on your guitar. Unfortunately there isn't any way to have them bypassed in the effects loop.

I think when the head is 100watts, 100 watts lang talaga yun kahit magdagdag ka pa ng ilang cabinet. Wattage is the power capacity of the amplifier, not the speakers. So example, if you have 20watts head, even if you connect a 100watts 4x12 cab, the power is still 20 watts.
Anyway, I'm also interested in getting a ZT lunchbox as a second amp. Na try ko yung sa cousin ko, and similar with some of the comments here, the sound is not that full compared to bigger amps. I rarely use the Reverb knob din pero try ko din soon. LOL!!! :lol:

Yung isa sa mga magte-test dapat was yung bagong gitarista ni Franco. Pero ni-retract ko na lang. Hindi ko kayang ibenta e. Sulit na sulit naman kasi talaga ang ZT Club. Hindi kamahalan pero panalo sa perpormans! :-D

Eto, kakatapos ko lang gamitin ulit. Tama nga si Ali, mas maganda pag around 12:00 yung gain tapos habulin sa volume ang desired na lakas. Ang ginagawa ko kasi dati is 9:00 lang ang gain tapos sa volume na lang babawiin ang lakas. Mas okay yung suggestion ni Ali. May natutunan ako today! :)

First of all, mas convenient kung yung Club na lang kasi isang bitbitan lang yun compared sa Lunchbox with extension cab.
And second, in my opinion, mas maganda tumunog ang isang 12 inches na speaker compared sa dalawang 6.5 inches na speakers.
Sana makatulong. Try mo din pareho para mapakinggan mo kung alin ang swak sa taste mo. :-D

Yep! When I bought my Lunchbox last year sa Sam Ash, I was able to try a Club, a Lunchbox with extension cab, at Lunchbox lang. Iba talaga sang buga ng Club.
Kumbaga, good (Lunchbox), better (Lunchbox with cab, best (Club) sya... :)

guitar>OD>boost>delay chorus>2 lunchboxes. for special occasions though (may chicks sa bahay) I a/b my analog board with a Line 6 Pod HD300>club... para "wow grabe set-up nya siguro ang galing galing nya" yung immediate reaction... pagtutugtog tunog utot naman yung pag-gitara.
lunchbox: for quick rehearsals and small venues. malakas na, lumulusot na sa drummer. good for overdriven tugtugan. for cleans, a good clean boost is needed.
lunchbox with cab: don't do much to your volume/headroom, kumakapal lang ang sound. pag malayo kayo ng bandmates mo or malaki yung area na kelangan i-fill. separate the cab and amp as far apart from left to right, with you in the middle para walang delay. good for overdriven tugtugan. for cleans, a good clean boost is still needed.
club: laban na sa other big amps eto, do as you please. reverb though is a bit 80's? sounding to me, seldom use it. pwede rin portable PA for barkada outings bili ka lang power inverter sa CDRking
lunchbox with a good 2x10 (main speaker off): yes. wala ng utot pag deep low-end kaskasan, actually nadagdagan ka na rin sa wakas ng low-end. parang bad.ing lang tingnan yung set-up mo. pero kung jazz and fusion ang tugtugan oks na oks na acceptable pa itsura, hipster musician ang dating.
lunchbox with a 4x12 (main speaker off): deeper yung sound, i recall having noticeable volume loss/difference pag clean na. can't remember, it was more than a year when I tried this.
cab with a good 2x10 (main speaker off): parang lunchbox din yung tunog, no noticeable difference
2 lunchboxes via signal split through a stereo chorus. 400watts na laban ka? madalas guitar>chorus>amps na lang ang gumagana sa akin laban na yung gain pa lang. 3'oclock gain tapos volume volume na lang to switch from clean to dirt.

2x10 lang... pero in theory the lunchbox and the club share the same power, parang speaker size at reverb lang ang pinagkaiba, so with the main speaker turned off, more or less pareho lang tunog nila. at least thats how I saw it when I tried them both with the 2x10.
nakakita ka na ba ng muka ng tech/amuyong pagtinanggal mo yung speaker cable sa cab nung marshall MG nila tapos ikinabit mo sa lunchbox? priceless...

ahh, wala rin gain. as in zero control talaga yung onboard preamp once you plug a preamp in the effects loop (it's basically bypassing the whole thing). But if you're going to use the effects loop for EQ / delay, etc., then that's a whole different story :)

At low volume, the Club sounds good also. Gain knob at 12 o'clock, volume knob at around 8:45. :-)

At low volume, the Club sounds good also. Gain knob at 12 o'clock, volume knob at around 8:45. :-)ok ok :) ligawan nyo pa ako mag club 12 :-D balak ko kumuha ng lunchbox kasi yun ang kaya pero mas ok yung club 12 ah hehe :-D
(and di na kelangan magdala ng cab :))

Yeah, that's an issue with the Lunchbox. However, if it gets too hot, it shuts down automatically. If that happens, you just have to turn it off for like 15 minutes or so, and then, it'll work again.
I'm just not sure if it still gets hot if you use a cab... My guess is yes. :)

the club and the lunchbox shuts down pag nag overheat. with a cab even moreso if you dont turn off the speaker and run it as a head. pass ka na sa lunchbox. you need the better eq controls of a club 12.
and you dont need to bring a cab for most bar gigs.

haha...makabili nga ng maliit na fan
sa ZT Club naman di na kailangan tapatan ng fan sa likod. May mga heat sink naman siya sa loob. The most Ive run my CLUB was 61/2 hours at 60-70% volume. Mainit talaga pero di siya nag auto shut down.
cool...I can go around 2 hours before the lunchbox shuts down automatically.

It is actually heavier that what most people think because of it size. Liit nga niya pero may kabigatan din. Around 25lbs siguro. Ewan ko lang lunchbox pero yung club nasa 22-25K bnew.

Lagay ka cable sa amp send papunta sa amp return nung amp2. Di mo lang magagamit pre amp nung amp 2 kasi power amp lang gamit mo.
Yung speaker out kasi ng zt pang speaker cabinets lang.

ZT Amps, malakas tumunog. most models nila malakas talaga despite the size.
Yung LUNCHBOX, pwede naman pag full band, pero depende sa tugtugan. kung metal kayo, don't count on it. get the club instead. also, the Club has a 12" Speaker. mas solid sounding.
And yes, pedal friendly siya. :)

oo pre. di made pang frfr speakers ang zt amps. you need guitar speakers. a good 1x12 or 2x12 would suffice. puwede din kasi mag overheat yung zt mo pag power speakers mo nilagay.

Based sa specs, it only has a speaker out. You can connect it to an active speaker. You can connect it to an 8 ohm passive PA speaker, but I cannot comment on the resulting tone.
Edit: typo sorry. You cannot connect a speaker out to an active speaker.

Mine is a technical answer based on published specs. I have never tried a lunchbox.

Pwede sya ikabit sa kahit anong PASSIVE speaker cabinet basta 8 ohms (or kahit 16 ohms). Pero, mas magnda yan tutunog sa speaker cabinet na pang gitara na talaga. Na try ko na isaksak yan sa 1x12 and sa 4x12 na guitar speaker cab. Mas solid ang tunog.
Yun kasing PA na speaker cabinet, if 8 ohms, pwede mo isaksak, hindi masisira yung lunchbox, pero since hindi made for guitars ang speaker, I asumme na pangit ang tunog. ano ba ginagawa niyo sa mga zt niyo para mag overheat ng ganyan? :lol: tatlong club 12 diresiretso nag rereamp tracking ng halos full volume, walang problema e.
Yung Lunchbox ko dati ginamit ko nang tuloy-tuloy for around 5-6 hours. Ayun, nag-auto shutdown sya nung mainit na. Hehehe... Pero nung yung Club na ang gamit ko, wala naman akong naexperince na overheating issues.

Guys, dark sounding amp talaga yung club no? Pansin ko kasi masyadong bright ang timpla ko pagdating ko sa gigs kasi tinitimpla ko sa house eh. (tamad ako magdala ng amp minsan kahit magaan na). I tried putting an EQ in the fx loop, pumapangit naman yung base tone. I have the high freq at max, and the bass freq at 10-11oclock. Take note that this is bedroom level only. Dapat ba medyo mataas ang volume para matweak ng maayos yung highs?

minsan nga 3o'clock yung gain ko para mas may highs ng konti. pero kung clean application ok na yung 12 sa gain. yun yata yung optimum level niya na pantay ang tunog. malinis pa rin naman e. pag mababa masyado gain ngongo at dark tunog.
lagi din ako naglalagay eq sa efx loop. pero kahit saang amp naglalagay ako eq e. so di ko napapansin diperensya. :lol:

Played a gig before with Doubletrouble. Around 200 people. Medyo malaki yung venue pero closed. Lunchbox ang gamit nya. We played songs from Summer of 69 to Semi Charmed Life. Okay naman. So, IMHOU, okay lang sa alternative si Lunchbox. Sa metulllzzz sya medyo kukulangin. :)

High output kasi ata yung pickups mo. So mag ooverdrive talaga yun kapag naka set na lahat sa 12 oclock yung knobs nung amp... try mo babaan yung gain? hmmm..

yup! I did lowered the gain to get the clean sound and get the cleanest possible, kaso nacocompromise yung overall volume ng amp, mga 1.5/10 lang ang gain level, ganun ba talaga kapag high output?

Wala naman issues yung Lunchbox Junior, kasi we tested it over and over again and again, the Tele with SCs really stays clean, but mine is overdriven, thick OD. we tried interchanging from SCs to humbuckers sa akin lang talaga ganun, i'll try my friend LP sa weekend, if ever ganun padin bka nga because of the wide range humbuckers provide sa sound versus the SC pups. :?
If you want to get clean tones from your guitar using the Lunchbox Jr, babaan mo yung pickups mo. :)

well, it will work, itll be loud, but it will definitely not sound like an acoustic guitar as the ZT Lunchbox is not an FRFR amp like the Lunchbox acoustic.

yes. for a small venue, it'll be okay. you need to mike it for larger venues.

IMHO, unless you have a bad back, i'd go for the MARSHALL AS50D.
the only reason i'd go for the ZT is its lightness and convenience, pero soundwise, big acoustic amps parin kasi importante sakin ang speaker size.

well, it will work, itll be loud, but it will definitely not sound like an acoustic guitar as the ZT Lunchbox is not an FRFR amp like the Lunchbox acoustic.

paps, IMHO, hindi siya totally FRFR, pero flatter talaga compared sa lunchbox electric. may coloration pa rin kasi sa mids dahil sa preamp niya.
i think it will work, pero tread lightly, kung chug chug metals ka paps, i wouldnt advise it dahil sa small speaker. to summarize, it will work, pero you still have to tweak the EQ a bit.
