Thank you sa lahat ng mga nag respond sa tanong ko. I really appreciate it. :)

I have another question though, pag nag lalagay ba kayo high gain distortion effect tapos sinasaksak niyo sa audio interface may buzz din po ba kayong naririnig?

If yes, anong ginagawa niyo para mawala yung ingay?
Balak ko gawin to kapag nagkaoras. Guitar > Shredhead > Interface > Cab impulse. Will let you know ano naging output.

If pasok naman sa budget, for me very worth it naman ang 2i2. ;)

naku baka magulat ka pre. kakainin nung behringer interface yung focusrite/m audio/presonus. mas maganda mic preamp ng behringer over anything within its price point.

yeah, pero im concerned kasi with the durability. nasiraan na kasi kami ng Xenyx USB and UCA interfaces. so mejo wary na ako sa durability ng behringer. parang, durability over sound quality ata ako pag sa interface. :(

my oldest behringer i bought from 2001, its a ub1202 mixer still fine and being used daily as monitor mixer. oldest behringer mic, a pair of c02 from 2002, still sounds thin and shrill but 100% working. xr18 almost 4 years now, never had issues even when fully loaded with 16 mics.

unlike my 3 presonus firestudio units which had hardware problems after 2 years. i have only 1 working unit now, kinatay ko yung parts from the other 2.

hindi kaya dahil firewire kaya mabilis masira? - behringer mixers are fine. I used to own one and ok nga yung preamps nya. but no experience with their interfaces
because I questioned the reliability (based from what I saw sa reviews).

but anyways, everything is made in china naman.

OT lang ako ng konti since behringer mixers naman usapan:

Yung mixer ko one channel lang tumutunog unless I clipped it, or pukupukin ko yung microphone para mag peak then tsaka lang gagana yung left/right channel. Then after a while magiging one channel uli(left channel). Ano kaya sira neto? Aaand baka may alam kayo mura nagrerepair.

I checked the prices as well. sobrang OMG seryoso ba yung presyo? :O makes me want to sell my NI Audio Kontrol for dirt cheap para mabili yung UMC404HD hahaha

behri = unreliable is a myth

XENYX X1222USB - 2 years of use, 2 inputs no longer working. noisy pots
2 out of 4 units B115D, busted after a year and a half of use. no power 1 unit, early breakup for the other unit.
1 of 3 mics in XM1800S, no audio picked up after 1 year of use (weekly gigging)
UCA202 - after 1 year of non use, would work anymore, not detected by USB ports
DR100 - faulty switches after 6 months of use
UT300 - faulty input jacks after 4 months
DI100 - humming noise after 6 months of use.

based on my previous band's above experience with the above equipment, totally not a myth. my soundsystem friends also warn me to stay away from Behri's kung gagamitin outside the house.

YMMV siguro. we gigged and toured with these Behri's and we had to handle them with so much care that the savings were not quite worth it vs its reliability. pwede siguro kung sa bahay lang gagamitin.

Hinala ko nga din, kung alam ko lang sana magbasa ng schematics and where to check haha. Hindi yung input jacks eh, kasi kahit TRS or XLR input ganun padin eh.

SM57 all the way :) its a studio standard after all. :)

pero for mic-ing acoustic, I'd go with a condenser.

Thanks bro! I have been eyeing both mics since they are on the same price range. I guess I'll go with the time tested sm57.

i have both and still like 57 on cabs. e609 is very accurate while sm57 adds some low mid warmth

I like the idea of having both mics. From what I have read, e609 is better when micing electric guitars. Is it correct?
