it depends on your film scanner. kung ano ang maximum na resolution/dpi na kaya niya. in my case, the maximum dpi of my epson scanner is 12,800 dpi.

Baby steps.....ang hirap ilagay sa film mode ang utak. First shot of this roll the iso setting on the camera was 1600 for I was shooting tri-x last time with it. Ukis Saba nan apo metenen.
Gotta do the rest of the roll this 2 days. Gonna pick my first 2 rolls of Kodak BW tri-x tomorrow. Excited but not expecting much

Hinila ko si kumander at yung baby namin na pamangkin shooting with Acros 100 and really immersing and engaging my brain tapos nung shot 29 na narealise ko EV value set to +4. Man oh man natatawa na lang ako.

Anyways sana forgiving ang film.

Update. My second Acros 100 was opened by my son at midroll. A long list of learning curves on this new medium.

Tri X pushed at 1600 except for my sons pics. The scans look dirty as in parang me mga dust particles. I was hesitant to give my first Acros 100 roll to the same developer and try someone else but I was there already. Thinking back now I should have listened to my gut instinct.
The resolution also looks of low quality but maybe it was my newbie experience looking at and working with film. I really like the shot of the taxi rear, with more experience and discipline hopefully I can work it consistently.

Thx. Ano marecommend mo na scanner. Kainis yung developer ko la paki alam kung dusty basta scan na lang ng scan.

i am not up to date with the latest scanner. but i am using the epson perfection v330. if you want a scanner that can scan medium format films, just buy the epson perfection v550. but i think double na ang price.

you can check hp flatbed film scanners also.

i have that exact same film scanner before i purchased my epson. the quality is not so good. but still can get the job done.

Is it enough to see if the exposure and focus is right so can choose the keepers from the roll.
Pag ok mas tipid padevelop lang tapos pili ka kung ano pa hi def scan at blow up print.

Wala pa chong. Research pa. Pero ang dami sa flea market ng hidalgo hehe. Mga japanese rangefinders. Guaranteed working condition with warranty. Price range 2500 to 5000.

May nagpaparent kaya ng film scanners? Like punta ka dala yung films, scan then get the digital copies?

Or is it a business op waiting to boom?

Acros 100 Nikon F90X Center Weighted AF, 85mm 1.4 Nikkor

I remember this shot being dark for the Acros100 so I pumped up the Exposure Value around +5 and this is what I got. I guess it doesn't compensate for the fast shutter speed. It usually has haze if I pump the EV. Nope doesn't work.

^sa lightroom? Play with contrast, clarity, whites and blacks.
