A customs... Do they really crack easily?

Especially the crashes. Maraming nagsasabi na mabilis sila mag crack. Anu opinion niyo? nag aalangan tuloy ako bumili ng A custom Crash. Napunitan kasi ako ng A custom Med crash, tatlong taon lang.

add ko na rin na Ahead Sticks gamit nya!!!!!!!!!!! not your regular wood sticks.....

kung mababasagan ka ng A Custom cymbals eto lang factors nun...
1. 16" Fast crash or crash lang gamit mo tas har hiter ka
2. 17-18"Fast crash lang gamit mo tas hard hitter ka
3. nag wobble yung cymbals mo, meaning hindi naka secure yung cymbals dun sa felts ad wing nuts mo.
4. Nalaglag, nahulog out side your drummng yung cymbals mo...
5. Pinalo mo ng hammer  (eto joke na to)


pero ang Medium at projection an matitigas/matitibay ng Zildjians A Customs and Z Customs

Di naman. Mayroon akong A Custom 8" splash na nabili ko pa nung 1997. Bugbog na to pero wala ni isang crack. Not sure about the crashes pero baka tiyempuhan lang o may lamat na yung iba dahil sa ibang factors.

Definitely may mali sa stroke mo.

In my opinion.

A Customs should be the most durable Crash in this planet. Why?
They give more, you don't need to hit them hard for them to speak unlike the thicker Z's which requires power in order to get the desired sound. With right felt and tension, your a custom should last a lifetime. Mine's 10 years and counting!

I doubt that they crack easily. AC's can take the punishment. People even mistake me for hitting a Z cuz I have let my AC Med Crash have it, but no, still looks like the way it was the day I bought it.

Maybe you got unlucky and got the bad batch. 
Pero I doubt, may quality control ang zildjian.
 
I agree with them, maybe you need to work on your stroke

If you're worried with cracks, just get a thicker cymbal.  Most A Custom models are in the thin-to-medium profiles.  Otherwise, just be more careful with your stroke.

Bakit di mo try mag-Z Projections? Or A Rock Crashes?
If medium weights still crack, try medum-heavy to heavy crashes.

Pero mediums na lang, para mag-open-up kaagad.

how about yung mounting ng cymbal mo? bka sibra higpit or walang protection sa post ng stand..

sa studio dito samen medium crash A custom ang gamit nila.
and it lasted about a year.
sa dami ng hard hitters dito samen,tumagal ng 1 year of "severe" torture
ganda daw kasi ng tunog(malamang diba )

badtrip lang ako sa may ari,hindi tama yung pag repair nila sa crack
sayang tuloy.

bottom line is nasa pag gamit yan,baka may mali lang sa mount at sa pag palo mo kaya hindi tumagal yung sa iyo

tama si sir paeng,

ako may A custom projection never nasira saken yun HEAVY HANDED ako at hard hitter.. pero dipende sa gagamit po yan.. technicality may ibat ibang klaseng hits sa cymbals.. may mga destructive hits panga..

i totaly disagree na madaling masira ang A Custom.. kung ako papipiliin A Custom parin.

ganito gamit kong crash pero hanggang ngayon nasa mint condition parin knowing na hard hitter ako.

hindi ko lang alam sa fast crash... sobrang nipis kase eh, natatakot tuloy ako paluin ng malakas
