Hi. I've recently bought a Focusrite Studio (bundle) but it did not include a mic stand and pop filter. and the guitar signal direct to the interface is a bit clipping with 0 gain on the knob.

So my question is where can I buy these stuff to complete my home recording setup?
- cheap boom mic stand
- pop filter
- decent DI box

Currently canvassing here, the other buy-and-sell site, and local music stores. baka may alam kayo na place na mas mura :D
Thanks! :)

I would so much to learn the following:

* proper equalization settings techniques for certain instruments (e.g. electric guitar, bass, drums, etc) while mixing/mastering
* panning/stereo separation for instruments on mixing/mastering
* sound compression, limiter, normalization how to techniques

I would assume you would mic an amp.

Try the Samson Q7.  It's less than 2K.

Budget is 2-3k either 2nd hand or brand new.

A brand new Peavey XPort is only 2.3k!

You might want to check this Youtube tutorial on recording.

As always, do not forget the guide at Tweakheadz.com: http://tweakheadz.com/guide-to-home-and-project-music-studios/

That site has been invaluable when I was starting out.
