Ya it's just plain pickup wiring that wasn't commercially available back then. Eh ngayon ang dami nang nagcucustom dito eh (and lots of info online too!), so it's really nothing new. Like, my humbucker guitars are all coil-tapped by default. Out-of-phase 'ing, I don't care about that.
Not to diss the idea totally, though. It is indeed useful for the guitarist who likes an all-in-one kind of guitar. I tried the first edition Super Vintage before. It just approximates the tones it says it can get. It can't really totally claim what it claims. Exag lang talaga si RJ. Or, you know, marketing chuvaness lang nya yun. Still doesn't warrant the 25k price though.
