Kaya ba ng DC/F series Boogies yung ultra high gain metal chug (e.g. Lamb of God, Parkway Drive, etc)?  :-)

Hinde kasi kaya ng budget yung mga Rectos.  :-D

Contemplating on buying a 2nd hand Boogie or a Blackstar HT20.

Yup. That's what I plan to do.  :-)

I've seen the BS HT5 boosted with a Maxon OD do metal, but its price range is close to that of 2nd hand Boogies so I'm thinking of going that route.  :evil:

If using just an amp, you hardly can. Boost is recommended. But I have a mahogany guitar with super distortion pickups and its output works well with the amp.

Ito bro demo ko ng F-30 ko. No boost:

Kaya nyan LOG IMO. Ma-gain na talaga ang F-30. Daaanan mo na lang sa kamay at technique mo and I'm pretty sure it will work out well. :)

Definitely kaya ng DC yung heavy chug chug. I've used it with a Wylde Overdrive and a 2X12 Recto Cab.

My DC3 is at the Classifieds  :wink:
