bumigay na yung AKG buds ko. after months of loving the cheap price+good sound combo, iiwan na nya ako. i plan to restore the thing by soldering it to a sturdier Neutrik jack.

now my question is: san nakakabili ng soldering flux? Ace and Handyman mustve missed on those dahil ilan mga ganyan na napuntahan ko at wala daw sila. i want a good solder on my Neutrik. any replacement/trick you guys can share would be greatly appreciated.

Meron yan, pero malamang hindi nila kilala sa pangalang "soldering flux". Handyman kasi ako bumili nitong nakaraan lang. 50 bucks yung nakapaikot sa isang tube.

Meron yan, pero malamang hindi nila kilala sa pangalang "soldering flux". Handyman kasi ako bumili nitong nakaraan lang. 50 bucks yung nakapaikot sa isang tube.

meron ako nung lead hehehe..what i need is the flux to deoxidize the metals for better bonding. i did try soldering without flux but it messes up the lead. notice how perfect some solders are pag nagbukas kayo ng kahit anong may electronics sa loob? wala akong mahanap nung paste type. i tried proxying it with vinegar as suggested on some website pero di kumagat hehe..umasim lang yung amoy ng hangin sa paligid ko lolz

sinabi ko din dun sa mga hardware shops eh..either sisimangutan ako na wala daw o hindi pa rin talaga alam lol

anyway, ngayon ko lang naalala..i took a summer job soldering tins for lighting fixtures nung HS ako. we used muriatic acid..so im off to the grocery mamya for a bottle..the rest will be used to clean my toilet lol

not sure, but hindi naman ata cguro ganun ka specific, flac is the output of converting, same as mp3, so may mga frequencies na tinatanggal sa compression process, so it wont be choosing what genre it will control its compression, may iba siguro na mas ok talaga pag naka flac, but not all

if you are using foobar as a player sa pc or laptop, try having abx comparator and see/hear if you can identify flac from mp3

yup, mahirap nga, ive tried converting my flac files to a 320 mp3, I cant tell the difference, mga ilang beses nako nag try wala parin, so now I stick on 320 for my player and flac for my storage

+1 ganto din ginagawa ko mas marami pang compatible na portable player

para sakin sa metal nag excel ang flac mas ramdam mo yung higher bitrate sa mga heavy distorted riffs na panget sa VBR or 160 kbps na MP3

plus nabasa ko din sa Head-fi na hindi mo basta maririnig yan lalo na kung hindi maganda freq. response ng cans mo  at meron kang golden ears

careful with the eyes, and nose. hehe why not use 60/40? Di parin ba ganun kaeffective yun? Yun kasi ginamit ko sa Phillips SHP ko.

anyway, since nasa usapan na din tayo ng audio formats, im surprised na wala pa ko naririnig o nag mention dito ng HE AAC formats..kung maliit na ang mp3 o aac formats nyo, mas malaki pa ililiit nyan(labo hehe) pag convert nyo to HE AAC hehe..yun nga lang, its another lossy format so expect a bit of messed up clarity on your audio..

ako, i use HE AAC v2..mas maliit pa sya..was able to convert a 5mb mp3 file to 800kbs haha..yun ang equivalent ng 128kbps mp3 sa HE AACv2..experimented on my 8GB iTouch and was able to stuff almost my entire library into it..problem is, im using a 2nd gen ipod touch and the processing and battery life took the damage playing those files..same will happen if you play the files in your android device..

the burn- in process. yup may mga posts dito related dun. i posted the procedure that i follow using guidelines that i found off the net. there is also a free burn-in software that you could use just look it up on google

60/40 na tingga, may naka mix na flux sa gitna. 60% lead 40% flux.

A4Tech for me. maganda sound quality niya and it's only php275. hindi siya tunog lata.
