Parametric vs Graphic equalizer

just bought an old Pearl parametric equalizer model PE-10 pero parang I hardly notice any changes when adjusting the knobs may pagbabago man parang konti lang tried to search the internet for manual pero wala ako makita.ano kaya merong to or advantage ng parametric over graphic equalizer.

try mo set yung freq knob around 500 tapos yung Q left most para mas malaki yung frequency range na ma cover nya tapos compare mo tunog kapag naka -15 versus +15 usually dapat malaki yung effect non or baka sira yung unit pero wag naman sana

Graphic equalizers have preset frequency ranges that you can control. Parametric equalizers allows you to adjust the affected frequency ranges. This means you should know the frequencies you want to adjust.
