kasi nakita ko sa youtube na nadedemagnitized pala ang magnet ng pick up habang tumatagal kaya pala humihina ang mga pups through the years na paggamit.. yun ang sabi ng seymour duncan company..

any idea sir san pwede ipamagnetized ulit o charged yung magnet ng pups?

Ginagawa ko yan sa mga screwdrivers ko para maging magnetic yun dulo nila.

If you do it wrong, you can actually take away magnetism instead. That's not so bad specially if you know what you're doing. Weaker magnets have a certain sound that appeals to some players.

Best, go to Elegee and have him do it for you.

how long does it take for a magnet to naturally lose its magnetism?

mura lang kaya magpa recharge ng magnet?

how accurate na pag nirecharge ang magnet ay babalik sa sakto or at least very close sa dati niyang magnetism?

hindi kaya mas mura na palitan nalang ng bago yung buong bar ng magnet sa pickup?

yup ganito nangyari sa pups ng rg550 ko v1 s1 v2 pups,i love them so much so better siguro kay jon of elegee mo na din yan dalin bro, naging maugong na sya kasi madalas ko isandal sa amp, na demagnetize yung pups ng rg550 ko.

Hindi ko pa nasusubukan Sir ah, pero kung gagawin ko man to sa pick ups ng guitar ko ganito gagawin ko:
1. Tatangalin ko yun magnet sa pickup mismo.
Bali separate ko yun windings at magnet.
Glue lang naman nagdidkit dun, yun iba wax lang ang kumakapit.
Basta mahiwalay lang. Yun magnet lang naman yun ididikit sa mas malaking magnet.
2. Ilapit mo lang sa speakers.
It's either it would repel or attract each other.
Hayaan mo lang muna for 6-7 hours.
3. Try mo ulet ibalik sa pickup at subukan mo.

*Paalala lang po.
'Wag po natin ilagay sa mga mainit na bagay yun magnet.
Lalo na po yun soldering iron.
Nababawasan po yun magnetic force ng magnet kapag naiinitan.

Post nyo updates Sir kung may kaibahan na nagyari sa pick ups mo.

hmmm...  nakakita ako sa clarkfield pampangga na isang factory.... gumagawa sila ng brushless fan para sa mga CPUs and other purposes.... ngayon ano kinalaman?? they are using MAGNETS..... FERRITE actually...

at first it an UNmagnetized FERRITE tapos may machine sila (hindi magnet o speaker magnet) na uses DC voltage to magnetize the Ferrite.... after a second tapos na agad salpak na agad sa FAN BLADE center....

i think technically.... magnets can be demagnetized and somehow magnetized again and again..... blah blah....

its not a charger actually if you pull out a very elementary experiment.... use a DC source.... high power maybe.... put a coil on it (series) make sure that the coil circular diameter is large enough for your old magnet to fit..... then insert the magnet inside the coil..... turn the source on..... but!!! wait!!! doing this process is like shorting the + and negative side.... so wag tagalan sandali lang kasi baka pumutok yung source mo....

the problems:
what voltage rating?
what current rating?
how many coil turns?
what coil to use?

its not factual bro.... i saw it worked.... i just dont know if it will work on a pickup.... but since they are in both the same material (ferrite) it might work.....

pero kung ako tatanungin... wag ka ng sumugal magpalit ka na..... need na rin magretire ng PUPsmo.... or better pa rewind mo na lang and change new magnets.....

it's not just the quality of the copper wire used.. but also the number of turns around the bobbins and the diameter of the wire.. 
more turns = higher output yata..

Actually ndi naman sekreto kasi alam na ng marami. Hahaha
Meron sila sariling gauge ng wire na ginagamit Sir.
Not sold commercially. Also the density and weight of their wires are more heavy compared to the ones sold commercially with the same specs.
Customized wire kumbaga.
Some are even stretching thier wires proportionally to get a longer length with the same resistance.
Kaya mahirap gayahin.
