good day mga sir!

Im planning to buy pc sa may guilmore but since i dont have enough knowledge, i decided to ask some friends where to buy.. lahat sila they told me to go PCxpress sa may guilmore, even a collegue who has a small internet rental told me to go there.. pero sa pagka-canvas ko lumalabas na mas expensive sya compared to the other stores..

bakit kaya?

san ba yung pinaka-mismong pc shop sa inyo in terms of what they sell, price, warranty etc.?

browse thru tipidpc.com

you can get good deals there.

personally if im gonna buy at gilmore... ill prefer pchub or pc options

in my experience kasi sa pcx mas mura kay sa sa iba plus may warranty. pwede rin amgikot ikot ka muna at humingi ng price list sa mga shops para at least alam mo yung labanan ng prices

Baka po sa price list po kayo tumungin at di po nagpa-quote sa mismong store. Kasi po last time bumili ako ng E6400 core2 sa kanila 12k+ yung nasa price list pero 11k+ lang po yung binayaran ko, 11k+ din yung sa receipt. PCX sa ATC po yun..

Medyo matagal na rin po ako bumibili sa PCX (although yung mga item na wala sa PCX sa Tipid PC namin hinahanap) and yung customer service po nila ang habol ko. Nung 2004 po kasi na-try ko na magpa RMA ng motherboard na na-phase out bago mag expire yung waranty, pinalitan po nila ng bagong model, nagdagdag lang po ako ng kaunti.

Sobrang cutthroat ang marketing strategy ng mga Gilmore shops. I don't like to go there unless really necessary.

Personally, I prefer going to Rising Sun. Their items are cheaper and they take care of their customers better than PCX in general. The downside is that many of their items (i.e. the good stuff) are order basis.

relatively cheap ang prices ng pcx compared to others pag individual items. pag buong pc, di ko sigurado.

san maganda magcanvass para wide ang choices? ako, pag may kailangan na piyesa, i always browse the entire stretch of cyberzone sa SM North Edsa. iba-iba ang presyo pero tiyak may mura kang makikita dun. mahaba kasi ang cyberzone dun kaya andami talaga. yun nga lang, walang pcx pati cd-r king.

ang isa sa mga paborito kong shop dun ay pc corner ata yun (di ko lang sure - basta yung shop na sa may dulo tapos harap ng villman). Weird nga na tumapat pa villman dun e pagkamahal-mahal naman nila. i dont even know why some people would buy at villman

when you buy from Villman, you pay for their customer service. their after-sales/RMA support is top-notch. plus, when you buy from them, they give you an official receipt. that's a plus for companies, especially government institutions. some shops charge an extra percentage when you ask for an OR. obviously, some shops don't pay their taxes honestly.

+1 on villman's customer service. I once had an SBLive that failed one day before it's warranty expired. They just tested it to confirm my complaint (right channel died), and replaced it right away.

i agree, ex ko rin nag work diyan sa main office siya, she approves and reject items yata na dapat talaga isoli sa supplier at ini inventory niya yun, ang kwento niya sakin pag may returned item daw susubukan daw ayusin then pag naayos naman lilinisin lang then ibabalik sa stock.

try rising sun computers sir. meron sila branches sa taft at shaw... http://www.rsun.com.ph ...ok yung prices nila, pero depende sa item. alam ko mas mura sila kaysa pcx in some items... check mo yung site sir.

Rising Sun's customer support is easily at par with Villman. Low prices too. Downside is that most of the 'good stuff' is on order basis. That's a bummer for walk-in customers. That's why loyal customers (there are lots of us) contact them prior to going to their shop(s).

i dunno pero dati ok ang PCX, pero lately parang puro lemons nkukuha ko skanila...!
3x na nila pinaltan video card ko. 2x ung ddr memrory...tpos ang tagal mo pa hihintayin...PCX

buti umabot sa warranty..pero hassle padin!

personal experience ko dyan ok naman.. hanggang nakabili ako dyan ng RAM at video card.. hindi gumagana ung RAM na binili ko at ung video card naman eh wala pang 1 month sira agad. buti may warranty pa un. then ung sumunod sa PC options na ako bumibili ng mga products..

may mga mura sa pcx pero hindi lahat. you need to compare first. good thing is accesible sya kasi madaming branches.

my BIG QUESTION:

Kapag bibili ako ng RAM sa PCX, puwede bang i memory check yun dun sa PCX, before buying(for RAM errors)? yun sana ang balak ko kapag maguupgrade ako ng RAM ng PC ko, gusto kong masiguro na walang RAM errors yung bibilhin ko...(MEMTEST yung software for checking ram errors)

kung integrity check talaga gusto mo, you'll need to run memtest overnight at the very least. so, walang kuwenta mag-patakbo nun sa PCX kung mga ilang minuto lang.

ok, kung sakalaing bumili ako sa kanila ng bagong RAM, then iovernight memtest ko yun sa bahay then, suddenly, may RAM errors pala yun... pwede ko bang ibalik sa kanila yung RAM?(papalitan ba kaagad nila? di ko marecall kung may log file yung memtest, pero yun ba ang mag seserve as proof?

anyway, baka makapag recommend kayo ng brands ng RAM, yung kingston talagang swabe ba?
