the latest phones now have integrated functions; mobile phone + digital camera + MP3 player + word processor + whatever. do you prefer these types of phones or are you favoring having a different gadget for each function (digicam + iPod + laptop, etc.)?
-
they're too bulky for my taste. oks na ko sa phone na may camera and music player.
-
i like things bundled but not too bundled. from what i hear, having too many bundled features can easily wear out a device. correct me if i am wrong.
currently, my mp3 player also acts as my portable storage. my phone acts as a phone and my daily task reminder.
-
id rather have them separated.
id like my mp3 player to fit all my mp3s, a digital camera that takes decent pictures, and a real laptop to keep all my porn.
-
+1 kay akosimic ganun din alam ko. hirap na kung masira telepono mo, yari din ang ibang apps. (altho pwede naman mag sync most of the time para naka backup ang data - still hassle pa rin)
plus i don't want to put all my eggs in one basket. i'm still using my trusted Tungsten T2, and my old 20g ipod, notwithstanding the proliferation of PDA phones with similar, if not better, calendar and mp3 player features. bigat lang talaga dalhin lahat sabay sabay.

a real laptop to keep all my porn.
*dirty thoughts*

"so... you also like porn?"
sabay gay pron pala, yikerz!

hehe good points... ika nga e parang digital multi-effects vs. analog guitar effects... all-in-one yung digital tapos mas portable pero approximations lang ng individual functions yung mga features nya :)
-
well i dont really mind lugging around several items. kaya nga inimbento ang bag di ba?
-

a little bit of everything :P
kaya nga nagbago isip ko sa iphone e.
...mas feeling big time pa ko kung marami akong gadgets na dala. haha! :-D

I have a device like this. Definitely not the iphone. Its the blackberry pearl 8100. So far, its working fine. Nilagyan ko ng 1 gig micro sd, I saved about 100 songs and it plays good. Wala nga lang syan video recorder, pero it can play videos. The camera is mediocre, pero its better than nothing (1.3 mp). All the apps are fine, and I like it that I can do presentations using my phone as the control.
Downside lang is, what if mabagsak ko (wag naman sana). Its pretty pricey, but its worth it.
-
Para sa'kin wow yang ganyan. But siyempre it depends whether you totally need the other features. To satisfy my curiosity and especially when i have the money. So for the meantime saa 3200 muna ako.

He he, there was a time that I thought the same thing.
Pero sabi nga ni Owen Wilson sa I-Spy, in the spy world, the smaller the better (parang ganun - not verbatim).
