Opinyon nyo sa mga drummer na hndi kuntento sa pagdrudrums..

Malaking advantage yung madami kang alam na instruments,bukod sa makakatulong 'to sa songwriting at pag arrange ng buong kanta, mas madami kang tunog o phrases na madidinig sa loob ng utak mo na pwede mo i-interpret sa iba't-ibang instruments (piano to drums, guitar to sax,etc)

mismo, lalo na pag ikaw madalas magcompose para sa band mo (tulad ko - pero mahina ako sa lyrics, i only arrange the song - check my links hehehe). malaki talaga tulong kahit na basics lang alam mo sa instruments. pero for me i found my satisfaction in drumming, not keyboardng.

It sure helps if you're a versatile musician who can sing and play different instruments.  These artists possibly have the slight edge in terms of musicality, since they would be able to relate and have the awareness of how every musical instrument works in harmony, in order to make the music better and more effective.

Plus, of course, any exceptional, multi-talented artist is highly admirable.  And what I mean by exceptional is, he or she is really a very good and credible musician.  It's not just about simply knowing how to play different instruments.

One potential downside that I see is a conflict on focus, which is a case-to-case basis.  I remember what a good friend of mine told me.  I admire my friend because of his talent of being able to play many musical instruments.  But he said that his problem then was his concentration on a certain instrument.  He was playing so many instruments, to the point of being unable to master a single instrument, likely due to divided attention or lack of time. 

So he later on decided to focus on bass (electric bass and upright bass).  And now, he has become a very brilliant bass player.  Though he's exclusively a bass player right now, I'm sure that his knowledge, skill, and understanding of other musical instruments help him become a much better artist.

I guess it really depends on the artist.  Some artists are naturally gifted.  Some can pull it off easily.  Some can't.  Some need to really work hard and persist on it.

But I definitely admire multi-talented artists.  Stevie Wonder, Phil Collins, Paul McCartney, Sting, Prince, Lenny Kravitz...  I wish I'm as multi-talented as them.  But I guess my role in life is to be a drummer.  And so I concentrated on drumming...

haha wrestler! sino ba gusto mo maging nung bata ka pa? hehe,
basta alam ko ok ang gitarista/wrestler tulad ni honky tonk man. kamukha pa ni elvis. hehe

hahaha..ngayon ko lang nakita to post na to haha..hehe..hmmm sino gusto ko?gusto ko maging si undertaker nun bata ako...kaya sigruo long hair ako at maraming tatoo dahil sa kanya haha....

ok lang naman. basta carry. hehehehe dude ok un mga syd line nyo ah wrestler... hehehe papaluin mo kalaban mo ng 22 inch mo na ride. tas pinapasok mo ung kalaban mo sa loob ng bass drum...hehehehe peace man!!!

well, iba naman yung sa di pagiging kuntento sa paglilipat ng positions sa band. and i think it's cooler that we have more talents than just having a few. and kung may talents, dapat ipa improve natin yun para gumaling din tayo sa ibat ibang fields.

ako, nag dudrums sa church namin. tapos kung hindi nagdudrums, kung kami yung in charge, back ups ako. and i enjoy doing that. and kahit na kumakanta ako, contented parin ako sa pagpapalo ng set.
