Very rare ang participation ng any wind instruments sa rock and metal band dahil mostly ang sound nila comes from electric guitars and keyboard.

sax and flute are okay.  i remember the 'the boss band' with ed roque during the 90's, they have 2 sax players.
one tenor and one alto.  i forgot their names.  the alto player is a versatile musician.  he plays flute, sax, guitar, keyboards, harmonica etc...
the boss band is considered a rock band.
