May portion dito where the participant is asked to play solo on the stage but what is good is that irrespective of the player's performance, he gets applauded by the other participants.

Subject: Sax Soc events
Salamat sa lahat ng dumalo! We had a blast! Added treat was Prof. Jun Cadiz displaying his pyrotechnics.
Now we have a proposal for Sax Soc open mic night. Either Nov 9 or 16. Will need to know which is best. Please inform me if you have a piece to perform either with recorded tracks or live.I would appreciate if we could all participate. Beginner or pro , we want to hear you. But let me know so we can finalize the program. Invite your friends, saxists or not..it will be fun. Venue will be Ten02 courtesy of Skarlet. There will be a minimal charge at the door. This will all go to Ten02 and Sax Soc.
Also....I will be starting lessons at Ten02 at the price of P700 per 45min session. Let me know your interest and available days and hours. These will not be your run of the mill sessions. They will cover mostly sound and expression and of course technique. Each lesson will address the individuals concerns. And this may be on a limited run, I have my own sched to deal with. But these will be packed with info, I guarantee.

Just wondering if this place has been closed already and the reason why there is no more workshops.

The jam session with keyboardist Ian was awesome. We were all in jazz heaven last night. Also, thanks to Scarlet for the venue (TEN02). Let us support the place so we can have more of these fun, entertaining and learning experiences.
