Ive been diagnosed with highly likely early stages of TB and the doctor gave me two options. Lung scope procedure to obtain fluids to confirm TB or Start on 6 months of medication which could affect the internal organs, nerves, mood swings etc. Im asking those taking medication how is it affecting you physically?
I asked the doctor if I go meds how long will we know if its effective the answer was 6 months so I went lung scope procedure next week.
di ba pwede yung skin test, or di madedetect dahil early stage? para syang allergy test eh, they inject something between your skin taposbalik ka after a week. pag mukhang kagat pa rin ng lamok may TB bacteria ka sa system mo.
most obvious effect physically, yung kulay orange. magkakaroon ka ng orange glow. not kidding. you'll be sweating, spitting, crying, peeing, crapping, cumming orange. Effect sya ng Rifampicin, if that's what they give you. That's why contact lens users who undergo TB treatment are told to switch to glasses temporarily. Magiging orange yung mga puting sando, brip at polo mo.
Other than that, wala namang adverse effects for me. Like a lot of medication, it can possibly kill your liver, pero ganun din naman ang Paracetamol at Ibuprofen. No mood swings for me, although matakaw ako nun.
