DIY Line Array that categorizes as pro-audio?
« on: September 16, 2015, 09:04:37 AM »
Good day!

my thoughts at first with regards Line array options are:

1. DIY - could be cheapest, built strong, but may suffer from a very harsh unbalance sound
2. China - quite expensive, may sound better than DIY, but built not to last long (shorter than DIY)
3. The Big Players - RCF, FBT, L Acoustics, Nexo, JBL, etc, sounds "balanced", but requires "BIG" investment

Purpose is to have a
1. exceptional good sound quality
2. built to last long
3. but with the minimal investment one can get.

salamat.

I also wondered about DIY line array since maraming gumagamit ng line array (at nakaka-inggit kasi wala akong ganung kadaming pera huhuhu). Base from how other people use their line arrays, you could get same or even better performance using trap boxes (two way etc.).

Meron mas bagong concept ngayon which is the unity/synergy horns, mas ok eto kung isang pares lang plano nyo.
