dito tayo!

i've been collecting music magazines; RollingStone, SPIN, Guitar Mags.. specially yung mga special edition..

most notable collection: SPIN: Kurt's 10th Anniversary, GuitarWorld's; GnR AFD 15th Anniversary.. :-D

been collecting vintage sports annuals and magazines since september last year, to add to my collection of more current 21st century sports annuals. we're talking basketball, football and baseball annuals dating back to the '50s-'70s, na nabibili ko sa eBay...and the collection keeps growing! i've always been interested in sports and sports history, thus my decision to start collecting nung nagkaroon ako ng sideline...

cool! dito sa pinas, may mga kakilala ako, nangongolekta ng FHM.. ang pinaka hard-to-find.. yung first issue. may kakilala din ako, nangongolekta ng lahat ng magazine/songbook na feature ang EHEADS! :-D

what i want is the first issue of playboy in mint condition(if there's one)! :lol:

FHM, mens health, old guitar magz,etc. ngayon pahirapan na kc mukang my kumukuha ding iba. try nyo maghanap sa mga junkshop na malalaki sa area niyo for sure meron nun..

i collect PULP, guitar world, men's health mags, meron ako limited edition na top 100 music icon sa US. :mrgreen:

cool! i collect those too.. ie; rolling stone top 100 guitarist, top 100 albums to own, top 100 bands to see before you die.. guitar world top riffs, solo, lead, etc...

minsan, tinitingnan ko yung list nila, specially sa mga top albums for me to download/buy the album and see why they are included.. :-)

Those Neil Gaiman novels are good. It's hard to collect the comic books like Sandman before minsan kasi nalalagtawan ng issues. TPB's are the way to go to get updated or just read it. Nice collection.

FHM - From the first issue March 2000 Alicia Silverstone cover until December 2008. Panget na kasi ang FHM ngayon, walang laman at puro greetings and other nonsense. Nowadays, January issues na lang binibili ko. Habol ko kasi ang wall calendar but now, even their 2012 calendar was stupidly conceptualized. Sobrang liit ng mga days and dates!!! WTH?!?!

PLAYBOY - From Jan-Dec 1994 issues plus other select random issues dating back 1972 to the present.

pareho pala tayong may "metal - the definite guide" by the late garry sharpe-young...saan mo nakuha yung "the lives of john lennon"? i've read some very negative reviews about it but i'm still curious as to what's actually in it...

I'm currently reading The Passage by Justin Cronin. So far i'm enjoying it. It's about a scientific experiment gone awfully wrong, hurling the world into the apocalypse.. sort of like Cormac McCarthy's The Road, with vampiric monsters. Very Dark.

Other offbeat books like:

House of Leaves (for those postmodern fans out there)
High Fidelity by Nick Hornby
The Year of Living Biblically

Sa comics naman medyo naglie-low na pero I used to buy them on a weekly basis. Ever since i needed to sell a lot of them I reduced my weekly buying list.

Early on puro DC comics ang binibili ko, Blackest Night was so much fun, pero sa ngayon if something ever catches my fancy, it leans towards Marvel books.

Siguro napakamainstream na reaction pero yun sa 50 Shades of Grey.
I browsed it, out of curiosity bago ko i-bash.
Lame plot, lame characters. Mas nakakaarouse pa din ata sina Judith McNaught, Jude Deveraux and the likes.

Yung bago ni Lang Leav na lalabas sa Sept16!!! Pati na din sana yung kay Michael Faudet at Clementine von Radics.

Paulo Coelho, The Zahir. Yun talaga, perfect timing nun binasa ko kasi namundok yun bespren kong lalake na tibak. Haha.
David Levithan. Oo young adult siya pero sobrang lawak ng style. Saka nakakamindf-ck yun ideas niya. Saka, brave to write same sex love! Oh yeah!
Love and Death, Wallace and Halperin. Wala lang, dahil dito medyo kinoconsider ko ng seryoso that Cobain was murdered.

The main reason i dont read e-books ever: i can't sniff them. hahahaha it's the drugs maaaaan.

Teka lahat ba yan collection mo? Pwede maki tambay? makiki singhot lang, gusto ko nung classics. by classification/genre yung gusto kong amuyin hahaha

have you read Gone Girl? medyo over-hyped nga lang lately dahil dun sa movie, but you've got to give it to Gillian Flynn, i like her writing style.

went there last saturday.. prepare yourself with mouth/nose cover since dust fills the air, no aircon - just industrial fan on a few corners. also, books are arranged by price; ie: 100 below / 300 below / 500 below / 1000 below and so on..

i wasn't able to find any good book since i went there hoping to get musicians autobiography or any related books about music, guitars, etc.
