mahirap talga modal playing, kahit tanong mo kay bossing aya yuson.. pero at least he tried.. paulit ulit papasok din yan, kelangan lang kumbaga ng langis para mas dumulas :-D pero I like ETM's approach tsaka pinanindigan nya. :-D

there is this difference between being in tune and being out of tune, this isn't a put down at all, those who actually comment and pointing out things like this are those who care more,

but if thats whats called experimentation of sound in your heart, so be i:wink:

precisely.. you got the point.. thats why i used E as my pitch axis instead of G... di ko mabubuo ang all modes kapag key of G ang ginamit ko para magshift... i know naman kung talagang alanganin ang tunog..

and that's the nicest thing.. play with your heart.
by the way sir.. my e-add is melody_guitar0317@yahoo.com.. thanks in advance.. ill be waiting for it..

ok ill just email it to you... im just using now my fone in browsing the forum... thanks...

if you would like, i have a BT here and if you like, i would like you to put your input in it, i want to hear your interpretation in it basically

Ei.

Been awhile, señores.  :-D

Here's a rough mix of that overdue track, VENUS IN BLUE.

Same tools (Yamaha CS1x, Korg A4 direct to PC, loops).

ok naman bro. try using "intervallic chromaticism" more often. very common technique yan sa jazz and fusion. keep rockin'. gawa tayo collab. email me the backing track.  :-)

Thanks also for listening señor. A blessing to know you liked the track.

Here's a little techie rundown:

The old Korg A4's stereo out, plugged directly (in stereo baby plug) to the Mic in of the PC (I forgot the soundcard, but it's the generic card that comes with PC sets). All tracking (real-time) was done via Adobe Audition. All the drum tracks and fills are loops except for the drum solo outro, which was also played in real time (finger drumming hehehe).

All sounds (bass, pads, piano, synth) ay galing sa Yamaha CS1x (bought thru Philmusic classifieds! Ha! :-D)

gee thanks for the infos...hmm it seems Adobe Audition is a good software.. Is it user friendly? Y'know, I hate kasi complicated things which by nature I'm not really technical kind of a guy who scrutinize things hehehe...Plug n Play lang alam ko hahaha...thanks!

Yes sir. You'd be surprised, madali lng pag aralan. Ang layout ng window at icons are all very user friendly - As long as ok ang RAM ng PC mo, wala namang glitch. Ang effects are easy to monitor. Just make sure you have a good signal coming in (okay yung levels), mas madaling i process sa Audition.  :-D

Oi Señor! Salamat po...Hehehe 'yung totoo ang intro riff ,inaamin ko...

..saging lang kami.. :-D

Hehehehe seriously, it's also very much inspired by Miles' circa 80's vibe (with Kei Akagi, Mike Stern, Al Foster, etc.), while the Bitches' Brew spirit hovers.

Kasalanan talaga ni Pareng Miles.

If I'm not mistaken, Adobe bought Cool Edit Pro and renamed it to Adobe Audition and included several new features and redesigned some of the specific sections of the program although most of the features of Audition are similar to Cool Edit Pro. IMO, Audition is a big upgrade of Cool Edit Pro. But I still prefer the latter as I'm fond of using it  :-D

...... its the standard way to understand the theories in playing... but we can always experiment in exploring sounds.. sometimes by getting out of the box we normally discover new ideas, new concepts, etc... just like other great guitarists did...
I use to think that too until a real jazz master guitar player told me there are certain way to do things......even in fusion or any other type of music.
