First time android phone buyer with no Idea where to start..HELP

Hi, I think I have to upgrade my phone already..

Im using some old school dual sim nokia phone, and wish to take advantage of the latest communication technologies that are available today...like Wechat, Viber etc..

Im thinking SAMSUNG...with 2 sim card slots...any techie, gadget freak there know a suitable model out there?
It doesnt have to be expensive, or loaded with features..

go for zte! blade III to be specific. v889m ang model name nya sa ibang lugar. dual core 1ghz processor, 4gb internal memory (kaso nga lang 2 gb lang available). super affordable at mabilis. watch some reviews sa youtube.

got his last night, it was sort of an impulse buy,as I find no enjoyment in buying, searching, researching..about things like these..didnt bother to read and research too much about features and specs....not that interested much in those things..I just went to a store and looked at a few units and got attracted to this as it was cheap and had 2 simcard slots.....got a nice discount as well..(bought this at a mall store..was really lazy to go to those greenhills type stores as I hate haggling, talking,negotiating..and getting stressed tricky sellers (though they would probably throw in free case and screen film) hahaha

ayos na to, basta may wi-fi internet oks na..now to explore the world of mga apps-apps na yan...its a bit of a hassle since the stuff bundled with it are set to local market and consumers..haha

My older cousin has this phone and so far she did not encounter any issues with it nice purchase sir any chance you would root it?

googled about this ROOTING procedure..

hmmm mukhang kalangan nga since one major issue of buying  phone sa host country mo, halos yung mga important stuff ay based sa local market..

hassle nga kasi walang google play store icon..and I read na hindi madali install..and all blah blah..I really havent explored my phone that much yet, parang super dami kasi ang dapat iset up..haha little by little..makakaasar lang talaga yung mga apps..di ko mabasa, at usually local language..grrrr...usable kung usable, surfing and all...yung pag download at pagpili lang ng apps..eh yun nga ang fun dito sa adroid phone eh..haha

may nakita pa akong apps na flashlight tapos pwede morse code signal..astig..lalo kung camper ka..haha

pwede ba magparoot sa greenhills or some celphone techs place? how much? and safe naman?

the main reaosn why I rooted is because of the apps and games I needed and customizability of the device

the main risk in rooting is bricking your device. It will alwyas be a 50/50 chance but if the model/unit is popular enough,go ahead and root does wonders as you have researched

naipa root mo ba sir gandy? i just got a S7572 model. daming chinese apps, gusto ko maipa root para matanggal mga chinese apps, madali kasi ma lowbat tsaka ang memory usage ang taas dahil sa preinstalled chinese apps.

i just found a solution while gogling, no need to root na pala. SETTINGS>APPLICATION MANAGER>RUNNING-ALL
choose "ALL".  now you can disable apps that sucks up battery and memory. kahit pag nag restart ka disabled pa rin sila.

hahaha, actually lately sa gear at guitar..bass etc. nalanga ko naeexcite at ganadong gumastos...hahaha sa mga damit, sapatos mga chellphone, chellpone na yan..wala akong masyadong excitement ngayon...hahaha basta mura, maayos..oks na..pero yung aalamin ko lahat ng specs at mga features and capabilties ng bawat gadget...sayang lang ng braincells..hahaha
