A bit boring if you ask me. Played only through 60% (IKR? how can I write a review if I haven't finished it. :-D) The only thing I liked was the PIP boy. hehe Action was good, story line was not that good, but not that bad either. You'll do crazy things, one of which is blowing up a whole city. What I didn't like was most of the time, you'll be running from one point to another.

Great selection of military aircrafts. Although I did not find the story fascinating, the game was action-packed! Controls are a bit tricky at first, but you'll get used to it, unlike another simulation game I know.

Anyway, one of my favorite EPIC game ever!
4x ko na to tinapos and still pag may time nilalaro ko padin. haha :-D

9.5/10 - as expected, action-packed, great story line, nice graphics. the only reason why I didn't give it a perfect score is I felt the game was too short or nabitin ako. :-D

haha! I have the Gears of War 2. one of the best games I've played so I recommend you get an xbox360 and play GOW. :-D bibili pa ako ng Gears of War 3 by next month tsaka Battlefield 3.

well, if I have to rate Gears of War 2 I will give it a 9/10. yes maganda gameplay niya, graphics, decent naman yung story pero yun nga lang it's too short parang mabibitin ka but I really didn't mind kasi action-packed naman siya and it gets more challenging as the game progresses.

actually ako natapos ko na BF3. pero yung campaign lang , di ako online player eh. haha

nung bago pa xbox360 namin nag-RROD siya twice and it was scary pero buti nalang nag-on pa siya. when we had it checked out sabi ng technician nag-RROD siya dahil sa overheating. imagine nag-overheat na siya sa 2 hours of playing. ang ginawa namin bumili kami ng bagong power supply na may built-in cooling system. hindi na siya nag-RROD and overheat kahit na maglaro ka pa ng 8-10 hours straight. :)

hindi slim yung sa amin eh, yung older model ang sa amin. yes I heard din na ang slim version ang hindi prone sa RROD compared sa older models pero it will still happen.

Finished the game twice.
Gameplay 9/10
*maganda kung sa maganda! ayaw ko lang ending nabitin ako sa suntukan lang natapos.(spoiler alert haha)

Gameplay - 10/10.
- very realistic, challenging, and you can really appreciate it if you're a true MMA fan. plus, they also added the PrideFC so you can have best of both worlds.
- knockouts and Ground and Pound action are more intense.
- Career Mode is a little let down for me kasi magsasawa ka sa mga kalaban mo. there are times you will face the same opponent more than 5 times.
Graphics - 9.5/10.
- parang totoong tao na yung mga fighters. kuhang-kuha down to the last detail. cuts and bruises are also more realistic.
Sound - 10/10.
- great commentary work. parang nanonood ka ng real UFC event. hits like punches, kicks, elbows, and knees sound like the real thing. maririnig mo talaga yung "pitik".
Overall Impression:
I played the older UFC games and OK naman siya but when I played the UFC: Undisputed 3, I thought it was the best so far (for my taste). I'm a big fan of MMA since I also practice it in real life so na-appreciate ko talaga yung game. this game is highly recommended if you're a big MMA fan or simply a gamer who wants to blow off some steam and want to hit somebody. :lol:

BATMAN ARKHAM CITY

Gameplay 9.5/10
- Freeflow combat is great. You can throw tons of combos kahit more than 10 (yes 10) ang kumukuyog sa yo. You can counter another opponents hit kahit may binubugbog ka na.
- Tons of Riddler puzzles to solve...simple mechanisms, portraits on the wall, etc.
- Bat gadgets at your disposal: Grappling gun, line launcher, cryptographic sequencer, the ever handy batarang which can also be remote controlled (slow down or boost its spin), you can also use the freeze gun of who else...mr freeze
- Battle Batman's timeless villains. Halos andun silang lahat including the Bat's allies, you can view their every profile (even the date when they first appeared in comics)
- Control catwoman (kung mahilig kayo sa pussy).
- Nightwing appears briefly in this one, but you don't get to use him.
Sound 9/10
Overall sound is great. What I give most credit to is the voice actors in the game.

Graphics: I'd say it's nothing unusual. Same as the last simulation game I have reviewed. Nothing fancy.
Gameplay: This, this is the part I liked the most. The gameplay is superb! Training mode is enough for those who only seek fun, shoot some bad guys. BUT, if you want the thrill, the hardship of controlling your apache, then you can choose "realistic" mode. One con is you can't customize what arsenal your apache would carry. Another con is there are no checkpoints where the level saves. Meaning that if you'd fail in the middle of the mission, you'd have to start again.

Graphics: Maganda para sa isang turn based strategy game. :)
Gameplay: As I said, turn based ang laro. Pipili ka ng leader, tapos may perk kada country. 10+ yung country kung tama yung bilang ko, kaya madaming choices. Linear lang ang laruan, gawa ka city, palawakin mo, magpayaman ka, umatake ka ng ibang city, tapos bandang huli, dapat masakop mo lahat, kapag hindi at natapos ang oras, magdedepende ang victory sa na achieve mo (kaya dapat magpayaman ka din kung hindi ka lalaban). Repetitive lang lahat. Pero yung masaya kase, hindi mo alam yung mangyayari sa next turn. kaya may excitement. Nuong una ay naboring ako, pero nung natutunan ko na kung pano magpalawak ng city, lumaban, mag conquer ng ibang city, ang saya. ang saya saya pala. hahaha!
4/5 sya sakin.

Kung inaakala nyo na etong Alice na to e fairytale, nagkakamali kayo. Parang eto lang yung gothic na Alice. lol kase sobrang lungkot ng tema. Ewan ko ba kung bakit, pero pag nilalaro ko to, naalala ko yung "lovely bones" na palabas/libro. Parang ganung mga scenes yung makikita mo rito. Creepy music, creepy gameplay, bizarre enemies, tricky at higit sa lahat ay bad-ass na Alice. Naaaapaka-haba ng larong to. Pero, maganda sya, mairerekumenda ko sa mga taong maraming oras. haha.

As the title suggests, the player takes the role of a hunter in a fantasy environment and completes quests by seeking out monsters to hunt or capture...

1 was the longest (and the best IMHO)
2 has the best storyline

pero oo gusto kong bigyan ng feedback ito dahil 2 beses kong tinapos to sa sobrang enjoy ko sa paglalaro.
nung panahon ng mga dual core cpus at 128bit graphic cards, ito ang benchmarking tool ng nakararami. ako, nilaro ko lang dahil interesado ako at alam kong kayang kaya ng pc ko ito.
id give this 8/10 for sheer fun, eye popping graphics and great storyline - lahat ito ay para sa year kung kelan sya lumabas.
if i have the time, id still play this. maybe in God mode na para makapag unleash ako ng mayhem sa buong island hehehe.

Gameplay 9.5/10
- Story is about the vengeance of Kratos (and it's end) as he deals with the Greek gods left from the previous GOW installments. Zeus, Hades, Poseidon, Helios...etc
- The gore is also very high in this one which gave delight to the users
ex. Kratos ripping enemy wolves by breaking their jaws apart
Kratos pulls eye of the cyclops, etc.
- Wide range of controls when grappling an enemy:
Enemies can be used as a battering ram
Slam their faces against the wall
Throw them off a ledge
Back breaker (if i remember it right)
- Accessories at his disposal
Head of Helios - for blinding light
Boots of Hermes - lightning speed
Bow of Apolla - fire laced arrows
Sound 10/10
- Overall scoring is great
- Prague choir for the soundtrack
- Among others who lent their voices are malcolm mcdowell, rip torn, kevin sorbo (from the hercules series), elijah wood in a minor role
Graphics 10/10
- Exceeded expectations even though this was their first venture in the PS3 platform
Whats next? I think meron na atang lalabas na God of War: Ascension very soon

I wasn't able to play all of them, pero I was able to play their renditions in the PSP. Chains of Olympus ata tsaka Ghost of Sparta, and I think it sufficed a bit naman.
Ayoko na din magbacktrack ng laro kasi, going from the latest version to the outdated one. Baka madisappoint lang ako sa gameplay, graphics, etc kasi pabalik lahat. Though I would benefit from the storyline, maybe I can just read it off. hehehe :)

Oo nga eh, hehe. May narration naman sa mga significant events kaya ok lang. Pero sir nagkaron sila ng GOW collection nung mga yun at lahat nasa PS3...pero ayoko pa din mag backtrack. hehe
Tagal ko ng naghahanap ng Uncharted 3 sa ps3, di ko pa din nalalaro hanggang ngayon :eek:

hindi ko na magawan ng review, since it was around 8 years ago ng nalaro ko. Pero at a quick glance: Nakukunan ang mga multo gamit ang isang espesyal na camera (similar sa isang thai movie nuon) at nakadepende ang damage sa espesyal din na camera film mo. Walang baril or anumang armas na magagamit sa game kundi ang camera obscura.

Great selection of military aircrafts. Although I did not find the story fascinating, the game was action-packed! Controls are a bit tricky at first, but you'll get used to it, unlike another simulation game I know.
9/10 sakin to kasi mahilig talaga ko sa fighter planes
sir natapos ko na din to..i agree, story is nothing special, pero busog mata mo sa action and dogfights.. :mrgreen:

Metal Gear Rising: Reveangance
Graphics: 10/10. very smooth IMO.
Gameplay: 10/10. maganda yung all around feel ng game and fight scenes. it's like God of War and Assassin's Creed combined. you still get that classic metal gear experience.
Story: 9/10. solid naman yung story line niya.
Overall: 9.5/10. highly recommended especially if you're a big fan of the Metal Gear series. siguro the only flaw to this game is the very short playing time and lack of guns (kasi age of the Cyborgs na eh). my cousin finished it in 6 hours.

highly recommended talaga, bro! maganda talaga yung gameplay niya. I was a little skeptical din when I heard platinum games na ang nagtakeover pero after playing it, it still has that classic metal gear experience. if you're a big MGS fan like me then go for it, hindi ka magsisisi. I know I didn't. :-D

the negative side of it is the short story and playing time. 6 hours lang natapos na ng cousin ko eh. hindi katulad ng other MGS games na matagal matapos.

TRANSFORMERS: FALL OF CYBERTRON

STORY: 9/10The war for cybertron has been lost, the planet has been ravaged and is dying. Autobots seeking refuge while decepticons still seek for total domination against them. Dinobot origins were also retold in this one.
GRAPHICS: 10/10 It's as cool as it gets, maganda yung episode na nakaalis na sila ng cybertron and travelling through space towards earth. The part where jetfire tries to defend the ark as the decepticons try to infiltrate.
GAMEPLAY: 10/10 As the story rolls along, you play episodes on both sides. 10 episodes ata sya and you get to play various autobots and decepticons. Though metroplex is just a called/commandable autobot, you can play the massive bruticus. What's cooler is you can play as grimlock in the dinobot origins, though sya lang amongst all dinobots ang magagamit mo.
OVERALL This game has received very positive reviews, I give it a 9.5/10.

Story: 9/10 Reboot kasi kaya from the scratch talaga yung kwento.
Graphics: 10/10 Ang ganda ni rebooted LARA!!! haha
Gameplay: 7/10.. this is debatable. para saakin nagmuka nalang siyang Uncharted, unlike yung original gameplay talaga ng TR series.
Overall: 8/10 typical adventure game parang di ko nafeel na Tomb Raider yung nilalaro ko. Ang ganda lang talaga ni Lara dito. haha

Gameplay: 7/10. for an FPS game, it sure lacks the intensity. the game is also very short that's why I rated it 7 and that's me being generous already. I finished the game in 3 hours. probably the shortest FPS game I have ever played.
Story: 5/10. it's about North Korea invading and taking over the US. you will be playing as a resistance soldier.
Graphics: 7.5/10. Graphics is not bad but not very realistic when you shoot down your enemies. And, blood looks like KETCHUP.
Overall Rating: 6.5/10. I only played this game due to curiosity and because I saw that it had great reviews on youtube but I was a little disappointed to be honest. if you're a big FPS fan like me then you will be disappointed with this one. IMHO, don't waste your time with this one.

Sniper 2: Ghost Warrior
Gameplay: 8/10. the game is pretty decent. challenging din siya kasi you need to be aware of wind direction and speed that affects the trajectory of the bullet. in short, it's like you're a real sniper. much of the game is stealth mode so it's not like COD or Battlefield where you get to participate in an all out firefight.
Graphics: 9/10. very realistic IMO and smooth din siya especially on high settings. the only flaws for me were the blood splatter which looked like ketchup and the gun fire. the gun fire looks sloppy and unrealistic.
Story: 9/10. maganda naman yung story and very unpredictable. parang movie eh.
Overall Impression: I will give it a solid 8.5/10. this game totally surprised me. I thought it was going to be one of those sloppy, low budget FPS games but I was wrong. the story and gameplay reeled me in from start to finish. the game isn't too long but I still had fun playing it. you get a great feel of what it's like to be a real sniper because you have to be weary of your environment to take your enemy down with a single shot. on hard mode, wind direction and calculation of bullet trajectory will really mess you up but it will take patience, understanding, timing, and sometimes a little luck. :-D if you're one of those trigger happy gamers who just want to pick-up an assault rifle and kill everybody in the room, then this game is not for you because as what I have stated, the missions are pure stealth and sneaking up on your enemies. but, if you're a fan of challening FPS games and stealth covert operations, then this game could be great for you.
PS: the first two missions take place in the Philippines but your enemies are Russians. they did mention the Abu Sayyaf but you will not encounter them in the game.
Hope my review helps. I'm still waiting for a copy of Medal of Honor: Warfighter and Dead Rising. I will make a review as soon as I get to play either one of them. :)

Update naman dito, pati PS4 din. Im currently downloading a copy of "The Last of us". Nagtry lang ako ng prologue nya nung nakadownload na ko ng sufficient data para magrun sa background. Ang ganda, can't wait to finish the dl.
