Researchers subjected cultured human bladder and lung cells to e-cigarette vapor which is designed to avoid the carcinogenic byproducts of tobacco.

They found the cells mutated and became cancerous at a much higher rate than expected, and mice exposed to the smoke also suffered significant DNA damage.

funny thing how "dagdag bawas" affects these Academic Studies.

NYU themselves published in their website that vaping is safer and can help quit smoking.
https://www.nyu.edu/about/news-publications/news/2018/january/do-less-harm--e-cigarettes-a-safer-option-than-smoking.html

the Bloomberg version of this article is actually more complete. it says that the study results are inconclusive because tumors do not grow in a 12 week period.
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-01-29/e-cigarettes-may-lead-to-cancer-and-heart-disease-new-study-finds

turns out, daily mail isn't a reliable source of information.

exactly. sobrang daming misinterpretation ng mga sites na ito. pag showbiz lang dapat tong mga to eh.

then again, sinabi ng Marlboro na titigil na sila magbenta ng yosi.

yes they said that prior to the FDA rejecting their application for their vape product :) iQOS.
