Me & my friends used to train. We thought it was cool & fun, and we could be like ninjas and stuff. It really was, but we took it more seriously when we learned that it was more of a discipline, parang martial arts. It becomes a way of life din. Everytime makakita kami ng railings, gusto namin mag-vault activities. When we see a wall, parang ang sarap akyatin. You also learn to be more aware of your surroundings. You learn to be aware of all exits in case of an emergency, you learn to notice different routes and alternative escapes. You also learn respect.
We stopped noong balik banda kami. But we usually do it din when we all come out of hiding & isolation para mag-tambay sa roof ng apartment(online kasi kami nag-jajam, online din kami nag-sesend ng audio files to overdub).
Not sure kung nag-tuturo and nag-ttrain ang PK-Manila or PKPH, but if you guys are interested to train, search for PKPH on google. Nakapost yung training sessions nila sa forums. Sa PK-Manila, di ako sigurado, pero dati 8AM every Saturday ang training sessions nila sa Lapu-Lapu Shrine in Luneta. Libre ang training sa PK-Manila. PKPH on the other hand has a small fee, pero professional training yata ino-offer nila.
For freerunners naman, I think they train sa Gymnastica before taking it to the pavement. Try it for a little interesting fun.
