BOUNCE rocks this month with our Entertainment Issue!
Featuring VJ Dylan of Jack TV’s Peep Show on the cover, we put up an all-out celebration of Entertainment complete with street dancers and drag queens. We sit down with Dylan and get the real deal on her job and every crazy day in between.
We’ve also Urbandub taking a day-off, shopping in Cubao Expo! Plus for our fashion editorial, we got top band Sino Sikat? modeling jazz-chic in a laid back café. Because of our undying love for film photography, we got top lensman Chuck Reyes to shoot both bands in all their analog glory.
We’ve also got the best up and coming college bands in Manila today! Cathexis, Pascalene, Mithi, Battle City and the Eighteens show us what they do in their regular school days. We’ve also got a pool of talented young performers (ranging from saxophonists to street dancers) who promise to be the faces of the future of Philippine Entertainment.
Troop with us to Bulacan! We got nine lomographers to shoot a group of mountain bikers as they sped and flew over ramps and obstacles. And to unwind after a hard day, we go to Magnet Katipunan to chill and end up splitting our sides watching SPIT, the best improv-entertainment group this side of Manila!
And as faithful Bounce readers will tell you, an issue isn’t complete without our hard-hitting articles about society as it is today. We explore the world of fine literature reading and what is happening to the art of the spoken word. We also head over to seedy bars and discover what some college students will do to pay for tuition fees.
