was able to test a couple of snare drums a while ago...

jimmy chamberlain yamaha sig snare
tama artwood maple 13 x 6.5
joey jordison sig snare
pork pie big black

Tapos ung joey jordison tapos yung big black...

lupit talaga nung jimmy chamberlain.. Tapos may video sya dito .. astig:

http://www.jimmychamberlincomplex.com/media.php

I would like to custom a 14"x3.5 picollo though kasi pop kami....

The Jordison is essentially a 13" x 6.5" Ultracast...

i still haven't experimented with the snare e.

yes ultracast is the snare joe jordison uses before his signature snare drum came out..

yes we decided not to order muna last year the ultacast snares because we want to promote the joey jordison snares and the other signature series as well..and the fact also na mas mura yun joey jordison compared to the ultracast snares..sa ultarcast nga lang you have the option of two sizes..well the ultracast can still be purchased from us thru special order..i just need to include it on our future orders..

jacobus the elims doubles are 19,999 but for cash purchases i can give it as low 18k and sometimes we even offer it at a 6-12 months installment plan no interest..dude there are many factors to consider like taxes, shipping and freight charge..for the past 2 years i handled pearl i never had a price increase...its a good thing if you got that for a lower price, but bro how many drummers here has the luxury of going to hongkong or even ordering online..

regarding the ultracast yes it would be expensive because its hi-end..thats why we decided to go for the joey jordison instead..because we feel the market for the ultracast wont be that big...its like buying a car..a mitsubishi galant wouldn't be the same price as a lancer..thats why majority of the stocks should be lancer and not the hi end galants

hope this helps man and made the pricing issue clear..

dude its not easy being the product head of pearl drums but its my passion for the brand and love for drumming that keeps me doing this....

dude you can contact me directly at 899-9804 or even visit us on our pearl showroom for your inquiry

jpmb, i am also looking to try the joey jordison snare. i heard good reviews and thing about his snare and i think ima look into it. i might even purchase one from the pearl shop dito sa pinas, if papayag erpats ko hehehe.

yeah 1st time i fell inlove with the ultracast snares were when i was listening to sevendust songs.. the new once though. i looked into it and found out that morgan uses the ultracast snare for live and recording. so i decided that i wanted  that snare and asked my parents if pwde bang xmas and new yrs gift nlng hahaha. and since i good boy naman DAW ako.. pinag bigyan ako hehehe. (char!! lng sharing how i fell for the 3mm aluminum snare)

yeah yup i tried them abroad. sa singapore merong Tama dealer don eh so hehhe i took the opportunity to wack some snare there na maganda for free hehehe
