mbox2 pro question

hi there, i really want to update my interface now, need more inputs yet still pro-tools and well yes mobile. anywho, i was wondering how much would an mbox 2 pro set me back? any experiences? thanks alot. tried to use the search but there was some database error oh well hope you guys could help me out. btw, i might be late but... i'd like to comment about 003. looks kinda neat hehe. ok thanks

saerch for the user "kenrose" - DMI is also a PT dealer, you can get the 003 upgrade program through them. Mbox to 003 is $1.5k. 003 will satisfy your fixed and mobile recording needs, 18 simultaneous i/o.

**Caveat... the 003 only has 4 mic pres... the 18 inputs require you to buy an 8 ch ADAT interface, 4 more mic pres (for the 4 line inputs) and another 2 channel mic pre with SPDIF output for the last 2 inputs to total 18.

thanks for your help guys sir kenrose pm'ed me, just sent my reply. i'm not really out for a super up to date/multiple i/o super interface or anything. 4 would do it for plus firewire plus its pt. thanks again for your help. really appreciate it
