Uy its nice to see another non-shredder's Ibanez here... She sure is pretty.. :D Did you get it locally?

Quote from: haringulan
i've got an ibanez, not a shredder's guitar though...
its an afs75 red artcore (the one im using as an avatar)
i play mainly (almost exclusively) blues tunes so this guitar does the job very well.

i love this jazzbox to death...
but one small comment though
with how the neck connects to the body, it doesn't provide a lot of upper neck access
and i dont know why the dudes who designed it made it that way,
probably affects tone and all that stuff (?)

other than that, it sounds great and looks like a guitar you'd date.

Anybody tried Dimarzio Breed in the bridge of their Ibanez? I heard it's Dimarzio's warmest (lots of mids) HB pickup.

I use Breed in my RG470. At first okay sya, it somehow made my sound thick, coz of the mids. Okay sya pag overdriven lang, ala AC/DC..

But at hi gain settings for metal, especially wen you're playing a riff, it lacked clarity IMO.

I mean like those Pantera style riffing. Like "I'm Broken", mga ganun...Even playing power chords, medyo cluttered ung sound. But I have to admit, at 1st nasindak ako sa Breed, wen I changed the stock PUs.

Isa pa, I have to adjust the treble and presence of my amp to cut through...Nakaka-ngongo ng tenga kasi.

But in fairness pag slight overdrive lang, ayos na ayos. Khet lead or chords.

Im with you on that man! Hehe... She's really pretty.. Sexy in a subtle way.. Unfortunately my Ally is in the guitar hospital, i had her pup switch replaced. Im thinkin of having the fret markers changed to the same color as the body. :D What do you think?

really? i think she looks great as is actually.
the fret markers sort of adds balance in reference to the body.
but of course, your call... talk it over with her first, hehehe.

tell Ally that Elise and i hopes she gets well soon.

will post pics soon...
