LDC vs SDC not sure pre kasi parang apols and orenges e. yung old SDC (behringer c2) ko sounds thin and not as sensitive as my LDC (mxl v67g). my LDC captures more lows and much defined mids. yun lang, hindi kasi sila parehong quality kaya hindi maganda icompare.

mag wowork yung LDC as overheads pre pero bili ka nung pinakamahal na kaya mo. o kaya hanap ka na lang 2nd hand.

for practicality, get SDC. mabigat kasi yung LDC kaya medyo mahirap iposition ng tama lalo na kung nagtipid ka sa mic stand. tapos kailangan mo pa ng isolation mount sa LDC e medyo mahal din yung mount.

vote ako sa SDC. kasi yung mga entry-level na LDC di rin naman super panalo yung lows/low mids, so might as well SDC na lang, and convenient pa parang sabi ni sir peeves.

I know Yupangco carries them, but if you're not that brand conscious, JB is having a huge Red Tag sale, and the Zildjian ZBTs might have a pretty good discount. Or even better, a set of Stagg SH (B20 na!) from The Music Source, or Istanbul (forgot who carries them), they go for roughly the same price as the B8s. JB also carries Gibraltar, you could check their rack systems, and of course baka naka-sale din

Hi guys! Patulong naman po. Just got a Remo Emperor X last night. Really nice sounding head! But only when I hit it right where the Reverse dot is.  When I hit the head outside the reverse dot, (which is where I hit the snare most of the time), kahit saktong sa border lang ng Reverse Dot, my snare wires make this horrible buzz not unlike a really loud kind of fret buzz.
I already tried pretty much all practical batter and reso tensions as well as wire tensions (but not the jazz kind of loose) but it's still there. Ganun ba talaga yung response ng Emp X?

Yes ganyan ang mga reverse dot usually. para mapractice ka din to always hit at the center.

IMHO, i've been a user of CS reverse dot for my snares, and I love that sound. yung sinasabi mong buzz na PANG. sarap sa live. ahahahaha

yung snare buzz na parang may nota? now that i think about it, para syang piano note na dinaan sa distortion  hmm, sige nga I'll give it a shot, tingnan ko kung ok sya kasama yung kit (10pm na ako nagtune eh hahaha)

tama ba na dapat niluluwagan yung lugs sa snare bed pag buzz ang issue? tbh swertehan lang ako pagdating sa tuning ng snare reso eh 

wala bang extra long sticks na 7A ang thickness? Ok sana talaga yung Ringo Starr eh, pero dip!!

Meron kasi nito sa lazer at gusto ko maimprove yung sound ng snare ko at mabawasan yung buzz pag pinalo ko yung mga toms
