^ Yes bro, ganon talaga ang hi-hats.  It's still two different kinds of cymbals.  They may be of a different production batch or production year, or a different series...  It goes in line with the idea that no two cymbals are the same.  :-)

I was fortunate enough to try the zildjian hybrids -- ride, crash, hihats, china and splash of different sizes... eto lang ang masasabi ko --- I'm in love :-p

hay....

Why are K and K custom Zilds are more expensive than other Zild cast cymbals?

Mga sirs need info about this. Hindi ko po kasi alam kung bakit. Tnx. :-P

I agree with Plep! The K's go through more complexities thus the higher cost of production.

check nyo PITCH BLACK ng Zildjian
Quote
Zildjian offers the formidible sound and look of Rock at its absolute best. Pitch Black cymbals were specifically designed to be coated and played loud! They started with high performance Bronze 12 Alloy with its enhanced tin content and added weights, sizes and profiles guaranteed to deliver the brightness and presence required for Rock applications.  They then developed a proprietary coating process which allows the cymbal to be durable and strikingly beautiful yet still open up like a cymbal should.

The new A Custom ReZo Crashes have a spectacular new look, displaying alternating bands of spiral and full lathing techniques while using both traditional and brilliant finishes. The traditional finish area of each Crash helps to offer an aggressive array of bright overtones that blends perfectly with the instantaneous response achieved by the brilliant finished sections of each cymbal.

A brand new bell design for these new crashes was created to attain exceptional projection and Reso-nating qualities. Combining new technology with old world craftsmanship, the total design of these versatile new instruments produces a Crash effect that is truly unique.

hi chezky..maraming nagamet ng oriental china dito sa forums..both classic and "trash".. including me. and anu masasabi ko sa item na to? it's of the most abrasive sounding cymbals na narinig ko..and i think it's one of the best..why? hindi lang sa tunog but..oriental kasi ang isa din sa pinakamataas ang availability dito eh so..yun..

^ Well, better to have the stick broken than the cymbal.  :-)

The Oriental China is great.  It's one of the best China cymbal models in the market.  Though personally, I still prefer the darker, bolder-sounding K Chinas.

check nyo PITCH BLACK ng Zildjian

I had a chance to test the prototype Pitch Black and Rezo cymbals last April. Man! great cymbals! the Pitch Black has a bright cutting sound which is really uncommon for a black cymbal. The Rezo has a bright resonating sound and sophisticated look. If you love the sound of K custom hybrid, you'll definitely love the sound of Rezo. by the way, JB Music will be selling Pitch Black and Rezo this October.

mga pare, pumunta ako kanina sa suking guitar center...saktong sakto nakadisplay na yung Zildjian Pitch Black series!

nung tinitignan ko yung cymbal...napa bulong ako "parang may hawing to ah.."

aba'y may hawig nga siya!

hawig sila ng lathing/pattern ng ZBT...sabi nga nung empleyado dun "it IS a black ZBT, i'm glad you noticed!   "
