According to wikipedia
under the zildjian article,

the new zildjian pitch black cymbals are actually
b12 bronze ( 12% tin 88% copper )
so its pretty similar to ZhT i presume??

well, anyway, i'd probably save up for b20 cymbals :)

nice finish though :)
hahaha ako binibiyak ko muna yung wetpaks para makita kung may yellow thingy hahahaha

K light hihats.
may nkasubok na ba? ano masasabi nyo?
ano kayang magandang alternative na hihat...
yung slooshy at maganda yung spizzz (due to the lack of term) pero hindi masyado maingay at may stick definition.
thanks

They sounded kinda weak but sloshy to me. Pag madiin apak mo sa hats parang hollow and not solid enough is the best way i can describe them.

Though 13" yung size that i have tried out, it is safe to say that due to it's nature in terms of weight a 14" would be similar in characteristics but only louder .

May i ask ano po ba  gamit nyo hi-hat curently and what is it you don't like about your existing hats. What other hats have you tried personally so far.

Lastly can you be more specific with your intended use or style of music you are most likely to use it for.

hmmm good point. meron akong K Custom Session ala Gadd, maganda yung tunog pero parang my bitin pgclosed na, its more of a stick spitzz and chick, pero hindi ako kuntento pangride. be using it for any type of music but mostly rock, yun lang ayoko ng heavy hats :) hope that makes sense. thanks

Kung strickly Zildjian speaking pang Rock and Versatility most "commonly" used are New Beats.

If you like them sort of sloshy get wavy bottoms depende na sayo yung Series. Special mention yung Avedis & K Mastersounds.

While yung A custom Mastersound naman medyo too bright for my taste and seem to lack beefiness. It has been my observation that traditional finish hats sound more natural. Pero that's just me. (ayoko makipag kulitan)

I also find the 14" K/Z well adapted for most music it has a Dry stick sound yet it cuts through becoz of the bottom hat. It is very articulate, precise and clean sounding with excelent chick sound when played with the foot. Down side is medyo clangy when played semi open.

I have also heard a lot of people raving about the K Custom HYBRID kaya lang i hav'nt tried them personally so mahirap mag comment based on second hand information. Also since you mentioned pang Rock i'm not sure if it's appicable pero kung pang bahay lang or small venues most if not all of the above should do the trick.

In the End let your ears be the judge as you very well know how a cymbals' sound can vary from cymbal to cymbal even if it's the same model.

BTW Don't forget to bring your current hats when you get new ones this way you'll get a good idea how close or far off they sound in comparison to each other.

"GOOD LUCK & GOD BLESS"

amazing. thanks for the info bro. enlighted :)

hindi ko rin msyado type brilliant finishes, mahirap png linisin hehe. kaya leaning more on K and avedis for more old school natural sound.

ntry ko hybrid along with mastesound and session, and i end up having the session.

thanks again

Sir wala po A. Custom in traditional finish. All A Customs are briliant finish except for the Rezo which is a combination of both.

On a side note i'm not sure if top lang has the stripped treatment or pati bottom coz it doesn't say sa discription.  I would not be surprised also "if" they come up with a Rezo Ride & Hi-Hats to match it in years to come.

For me i'm not too excited about the Rezo feeling ko they are like Glam or Fad cymbals. I firmly believe that there isnt anything new about it except looks and that there isn't anything a Rezo could do so exceptionally well that its siblings in the same Series cannot accomodate. Opinion ko lang po .

I'll cross the bridge when i get my hands on one. On second thought it is likely that i would still get one just to add to my colection  :-D

Yes I know that po. Because all of my cymbals are A Customs.  :-D
I was talking only of the Rezo, I thought they were available in either traditional or brilliant. Nakita ko kc yung letters BT under the Rezos and I automatically assumed brilliant or traditional but it meant brilliant and traditional pala.

in your own opinion, what is better? A custom or K?

lagi po kasi akong gumagamit ng K dark custom crash 12" kaumay yung tunog. pero sa ride, ayos lang, maganda naman,,
