I have a Samson USB mic, and problem ko is sobrang bilis nyang mag clip (peak) pag kumakanta ako, malakas po kasi voice ko.

What I do is put some compression sa voice track ko para medyo lumebel sa instruments.

Isang problem ko pa po is the inconsistency of the levels nung voice ko, humihina at lumalakas, di ko mapantay na same level yung voice ko from start to finish.

thanks

Where do you adjust your recording levels?  If you're using Windows, adjust it at Control Panel, Sounds, Recording.  Look for Mic Gain.  Values are 1-100.  I just use 10 for my Samson Go Mic.

Sometimes, it's all about mic technique. That's why I said 'move farther'. If you are overloading the mic, then don't kiss it. Use distance as an automatic gain control, moving closer when you have silent passages. Try to observe professional singers when they handle a mic live - they are never in one static position, unless they have weak voices and terrible control.

What do you think of using ordinary RCA cable to connect your interface to your monitors?

:) Hello guys, bago palang ako sa recording.. planning to buy a Line6 UX2.. 12k sya sa perfect pitch. budget is 10k for an audio interface pero mag stretch naman if needed gaya ng sa line6 ux2.

question lang po:
1. for the price range, may mas magandang bang bilhin

my answers

3. yes. as far as i know may kasamang Ableton and Reason DAW ang UX2. pwede sya sa ibang DAW since ASIO and WDM ang drivers nyan.

Mga sir, in regards with recording drum tracks, sobrang kailangan pa po ba ng Reverb at Compressor? I'm new in recording. I'm planning to invest on Zoom R16.. Do I still need to purchase Reverb and Compressor separately or ZoomR16 can do all the thing? Thanks!

The R16 technically has DSP effects so you can add that in post production, i.e., after recording. You don't need to add additional hardware, although really good quality compressors and reverbs can be VERY expensive. Most people use DAWs and VSTs nowadays so it might be better to fly the recorded tracks into a computer and do post from there instead.

Happy New Year Sir KIT!!

Ask ko lang po, Im looking for a cheap guitar interface.

And I saw the Behringer Xenyx Q502USB, non-powered mixer with usb audio interface.

Ask ko lang po if pwede na po bang gamitin ito sa guitar, na i-direct plug ko sa line in input nya, then use a DAW or VST for guitar effects.

Do I need pa po ba ng external DI gadget para sa guitar or bass? or like I've asked na kung pwede direct na po since interface na naman po sya.

Sa mic I know both dynamic & condenser pwede dito at may built in compressor pa xa.

Thanks for your time sir.

No need.  Pero puede.

Puede.  May phantom power na din yan.

Thanks for your time sir.

my reply din... :D (i'm not an expert, but here's what i think)
1. try to check other brands like Creative E-MU, Focusrite, Avid(M-Audio), Behringer, etc.
But the Line6 UX2 is not bad, a bit pricey though, check our classifieds here for some good quality 2nd hand UX2s. Try 'em out as well.
2. Yes. UX2s are capable of instrument & vocal recording. Check Line6 site for their manual. Read on.
3. I think most info are in the Line6 website, check 'em out. check compatibility (sa website ng AIs or website ng DAW)
Usually AIs come with bundled SW. But they are mostly special editions or lite editions (LE/starter). Just to get you going & start & enjoy home recording at your level.

enjoy your recording journey

BR & God bless

Or just 1 channel?

Di po ba may mga multi channel na audio interface, since itong Behringer e I think 5 channels yata, will my DAW be able to recognized each channels?

Im buying na this mixer/audio interface next month.

thanks again

CHECK MY LINK HOME RECORDING SAMPLE VOCALS AND KEY
bale heto yung knalabasan(check description ha HOME RECORDING  :-D )

Try mo sir yung Behringer Xenyx 802 mixer and Behringer UCA202. (I have one). Ginamit namin sa recording ng choir. So far ok naman
need mo lang ng ASIO Driver for the latency.
