Way back 2009, hindi kami pinayagan maglabas ng Fujigen guitar from Ishibashi bro. 

were you buying online? maraming guitar sa japan na for domestic sale lang. meaning, hindi sila pwede i-export by the music stores (sell online via website, ebay, etc). but if you go there directly (japan) and buy it from the store physically, they won't stop you from traveling and bringing the guitar outside japan.

Tanong ko sir, may difference ba ang body ng 60's strat sa present production? Kasi may iba akong napapansin na parang mas malapad. Pero wala pa akong nabasa na nagsabi ng ganito talaga, sa headstocks pa lang.

actualy aesthetic wise madaming pinagkaiba ang mga reissues sa mga standard,deluxe etc..isa nalang jan yung position ng pickguard screws...yung trussrod positioning..yung pots na gamit,,yung saddles and all,,pero lam ko sa bigat and sa dimensions ng buong sukat ng body,,over the years nagbabago ng sobrang liit or sa paint ng body,,either kumakapal or numinipis...

is this authentic? made in usa... Z3 ang nasa serial number it means 2003 sya or 2004 sya ginawa... 50th anniversary ng fender... may mga nakita ako sa ebay na strat like this nakalagay 50th anniversary american standard strat worth 400 to 800$ pumapatak din sa price nya sa sulit thanks po,,,

Pero paano natin malalman kung authentic ang isang strat. But I checked at guitar dater project.com serial number z3059686 nung asa taas it shows...

 Just like this fender electric it actually looks very different from all the strats that I see the difference is in the tremolo...parang part ng fender jaguar but the serial number Z-6355676 shows.

You can make a stratocaster guitar in your backyard, put on a fender decal and a legit serial at the back. Gets? You can not base your judgement just by the serial alone. Yung word pa lang na "serial number" jan sa pinost mo halatang fake na. Lampas lampas tsaka hindi parepareho ang sukat. Wala kasi sila nung mismong machine na ginagamit ng fender. Try to google how to determine an authentic strat. May lalabas na post from ebay about things to look for in an orig fender strat. Yung hardware pa lang nyan olats na. Kitang kita naman. Pero pera mo naman yan sir ikaw pa din magdedecide. Compare mo din sa google images yang mga pics nyan para malinawan ka. 3k lang sa raon yan.

Yep that's legit, pickups palang tsaka hardware malalaman mo na agad, 97 sila yung may marka na CIJ or crafted in japan so that's correct..pati pickguard screw location for a 62ri tama din..may difference kasi ung mga standard and modern strat screw location sa 62..then stamped saddles yep tama din yan..even the position of the string tree is correct

looks legit to me. i have  CIJ ST57 strat and the innards are identical (they use vintage cloth wire for the pickups) and it has the circular mark under the pickguard for identification. one thing i'm not so sure about is the "Crafted in Japan" font. haven't seen anything printed like that.

May mga ganyang font ang cij I think those kind of fonts started around 95 or 96 mga higher models naman recently naglalagay na sila ng "made in japan" ulit..for japan market only nga lang

the "crafted in japan" font actually looks common for the "O" series (i think)...


got that pic from strat talk while i was quickly browsing the net couple of days back. 
other japanese strat also have different CIJ font.. i think.
