Nice choice. Does this mean you are using two monitors? I am currently on the shop for a vid card to set up two monitors. Medjo naiinis na ako sa patong patong na mga plug in windows, mixers and track views.
Yup, dual monitor system here. A godsend when you alternate between the track and mixer windows a lot. This is more evident during the mixing stage than during tracking, though.
errr lets start with the souncard sir KitC, which soundcard do you recommend? can you name some cards from entry level to high end. thanks.
I can name so many cards that it will make your head spin, but recommending one? That's another thing. You can still get by with a soundblaster if all you want is demo quality (and limited I/O options among other things). But if sound is critical to you, and you should be, there are far better options to soundblasters. You can only go so far, sonically and functionality-wise, with a consumer soundcard.
The main problem is local availability of audio interfaces that you read in magazines and catalogs. I suggest checking M-Audio cards at JB stores; Forerunner has their Native Instruments Audio Kontrol if you want other brands, and Audiophile has a selection of products from Lexicon and Tascam (their new web page is disappointing on info, though)... it all depends on your budget.
