ASUS is widely distributed. Nabili ko sa Silicon Valley-MoA, meron din sa Villman, PC Corner, etc. Medyo nagkaka-iba lang sa freebies pero factory upgraded na ito sa 1GB DDR2 memory sa lahat ng store.
Everyday gamit ko ito average 12hrs/day, performance is good even with Autocad and video editing. Very stable din kahit sa recording. Di naman ako power user or heavy gamer kaya solved na ko dito. Vista ready ito pero XP pa rin ang OS ko.
Sa ibang forums eh pinag-uusapan din ang ASUS as one of the "ODM" original design manufacturer making laptops for brand names like Power Notebooks, Power Pro, Crown, etc. Yung isa pang popular ODM ay Qanta that makes Dell and Sony, while Compal manufactures HP & Compaq.
Di ko pa nasubukan yung 2 years global warranty ng ASUS pero kapag nagbigay ng ganitong term ang isang product, expect it to be good. I tried asking the warranty of other brands, kalimitan one-year local warranty lang or optional 3 year "insurance-warranty" that you have to pay extra.
