Microsoft to kill off Internet Explorer 8, 9, 10 next week

MANILA, Philippines – If you're still using older versions of the Internet Explorer (IE) web browser, you may want to consider a switch to a newer browser model soon.

Microsoft will be patching Internet Explorer versions 8, 9, and 10 on Tuesday, January 12, to remind people that the life cycle of those browser versions is spent, meaning they are no longer supported by security updates or patches.
