finaly got a G9.2TT
the presets are crap and some are good.... some of them needs tweaking some of them sounds awful and some of them sounds like nalulunod sa effects.. pero its what i'd expect sa isang multi fx in factory settings...
the Z pedal is what i think every guitarist dreams of, being totally in control in some parameter and you can run them both at the same time and do your own mixing to the crazy effects you have in mind
( but i have it on wah sa up and down and whammy sa left to right)
2 expression pedals.. need i say more?..
i can tell that the tubes makes quite a difference.. very tweakable. daming parameters.. i have the solid state on 1 and both tube settings on 1 o'clock and tweak the boost knob to my tastes..
the amp select feature is really great! you can select a mode wherein iof you are using the g9 in fromt of an amp, in a combo amp, stack amp... its great!
first impression tlaga dito is the multi fx that is hard to tweak.. its not..
its 90% easy..
the remaining 10 is the extra features of the g9 where you can only find it sa manual..
amp models? i can say all of them are useable depende sa taste mo i alwas use the peavey and marshall simulations...
i like the EQ 6 band very easy to tweak and shape the sound you want..
two channels 1 patch.. assignable function switches, makes life easier in just a push of a button (no more tap dancing)
great effects! daming possibilities.
the USB is great! sarap mag record dito, using the amp/cab sims, recording is a breeze, no mroe micing the amps.. less cables.. and it can act as your soundcard!
i have used this one on a crappy amp, a modeling amp (line 6), a hybrid amp (peavey) SS amp (marshall mg) but i havent used it on a tube amp yet ttry ko maybe next time..
i can say it sounds great!! a little adjustments lang sa boost and tube knobs and just use the amp's EQ pag feeling mo needs extra shaping..

i havent experienced some of the amps that this unit is trying to emulate, pero i can tell this one sounds good!
one thing though having a drive pedal on the aux send and return will change the way the drive pedal will sound, there will be a coloration ng sound and some digital fragments can be heard but can be tweaked away..
i just wish the switch sa ilalim ng expression pedal2 is like of a switch ng crybaby kasi paminsan hndi ko ma-"feel" kung naengage ko na ba siya oh hindi kelngan ko pang tignan yung LED sa unit. and it needs a hard push sa pedal to have it engaged..
sana na-aadjust yung tension ng z pedal, (oh pwede ba? hehe)
**nakita ko na haha! while cleaning the unit nakita ko yung allen screw that adjusts the tension ng z pedal hehehe***
just a quick Q:
-does changing the tubes sa G9 will make a difference sa tone mo?..
-if this one has tubes in it, does it require warming ups? (like sa tube amps, usually wina warm up muna)
