ang 707ii ay may drum machine...
ang gfx5 may drum machine din...
ang G7 at G9 wala ako nababasa sa features na may drum machine...
ang G7 7mS ang pag switch ng effx...
maxado ba matagal ang sa 707 tska sa gfx 5 ??
or mag-palm mute lng ang technique para hindi maxado halata ang mabagal na pagswitch.. ??
ayun po paki - tama pa po ako kung may kulang pa ako na hindi alam tungkol sa pag change ng effx ...

yup syang tunay...sa kadahilanan ang GFX-5, 505, 707 etc. ay sabi nga ng iba. ayos pang practice. kaya kailangan talagang may Drum Machine like G2.1ut...pero ang G7/G9 ginawa para sa live stage performance. Nag concentrate sila sa mga live stage features. kaya din may mga tubes ito. ayun po ay ayon sa aking napagtanungan. kasi ako din ay nagtaka noon.

Aanhin mo naman drum machine kung bitin ka naman sa tunog?

I once had a 707II, comparing it with the newer G series I thought it sounded more natural and less processed especially the drive effects. Despite the higher sampling and DAC-ADC conversion rate, the 707II still hold on it's own price class. It's always better to use a power adapter compared to using battery, at least you're sure that it's getting the power it needs. But use original zoom PSU's, there's one in the classifieds it's my post

sir my piyesa ba ng footswitch para sa zoom g2? yung left switch kc my malfunction na, ngstrt kc yun nung tumugmtg kmi ng mga lasing kami ng banda namin xmpre hndi ko na lam kung mbigt apak ko sa g2 un baka nacra.....hehehehehe....lesson ko tuloy wag uminom at tumgtg ng basag hahawhaha!!!

At last my G9 is back!

Few weeks ago I got it returned back to the music shop when the LCD went out 3 days after I've bought it. I'm careful on handling my stuff, I have no idea what caused the trouble. I really thought this unit would be as tough as tank since it has a metal chassis and it looks very sturdy. I used to have those early models of Zoom and its switches breaks easily. Well anyway, my G9's problem is fixed!

im open to trade my gfx-5 to g2.1u para ma-fit sa pedal board ko. hehe. at may nag text sa akin, gusto daw nya maki trade sa gfx-5 to his gfx-1 + cash. at sabi nya na mas madali masunog ang mga parts ng zoom g2.1u than the gfx models. totoo ba ito? parang sales talk kase. hehe.

now im confused. hehe.

I have a G1 now and I'm planning to get a G2. Anu po ba difference ng G1 sa G2 maliban sa casing? Tsaka parehas po ba ang voltage ng zoom g-series sa mga Boss stomps?

if you want to upgrade, the g2.1u is a good choice. its far better than the 707.

may problem kasi ako when i turn the 707.. signal loss.. lalo na sa gain pedals ko.. parang humuhina ung distortion...

madaming Zoom G series fx users dito.

dati naka-G9.2tt ako, binenta ko at bumili ako ng G2.1u. while mas warm ang G9 kaysa G2, napansin ko na parang ginawa itong G2/G2.1u na dapat nakasaksak siya sa input ng amp at hindi sa fx loop. yung G9/G7 kasi may mga options na nababago yung shape ng sound depende kung san mo na-set yung output setting. itong G2 naman pag nakasaksak sa fx loop iba yung tunog kahit naka-on yung cab sim. at since pwede ka lang pumili either cab sim or additional EQ, additional EQ na lang. dagdag tone-shaping din yun.

yung EQ section rin ng G2 parang mas subtle yung changes kaysa sa G9. dati naalala ko +1db lang malaki na pagbabago sa tunog. etong sa G2.1u kelangan mga +2 or 3 para may perceived change sa sound.

mas ok gamiting OD/Dist pedal rather than preamp itong G2 IMO. maki-share din ako ng settings sa inyo kung meron kayo, hehe. so far, ang ok gamitin yung BG saka MD pang distortion, yung JC naman ok pampataba ng clean channel ng amp kung manipis yung tunog ng amp.

Me too... im selling my g7... and looking for a g2.1 used... i dunno pero overkill talaga ang g7... i mean... san ka pa you have the capability to record in great quality... tubed... dami patches... dami fx.. kaso in the end... maiiwanan ka ng feeling ng damn me kulang.. or may nawala...

"everything gained.." yep nafigure out ko din to dahil pag nagsaksak ka ng any fx before the g7 boboost ang signal nya (not ref to the "boost" knob)... even using an acoustic guitar, lalakas talaga... now thats the point, kasi youre left with the feeling of uncertainty... feeling mo madaya tunog mo...

im a player who plays mostly on low gain, kaya talaga ng g7 eh.. very natural sounding lahat ng drive/stomps nya eh at near perfect din most of them (Boss Dist, Big Muff)... kaya kung dist lang good na talaga to...

reason is that talagang overkill na siya sa kin, plus nid ko na din cash to build my cheap stompbox rig... (the lower model "G2" will serve as a practice tool, modulation pedal)...

G2 and G7 differs in function and configuration.. pero i think soundwise... magkadikit na din sila

Zoom has advanced from medioc to pro quality at fraction of the cost... kaya go try the new zoom g units...
