Guys, saan ba may nagtuturo ng drums? Meron kasing nagtatanong na gustong mag-aral ng drums, pero beginner sya, as in no experience.

San Juan-Mandaluyong-Pasig area preferrably.

Suggestions?

Thanks! :)

It might help kung meron din cyang video ni Tommy Igoe na basic ng drums... sobrang pang begginer, as in- in lay man's term lang and mga terms at student nya na mga bata ang ngdemo. takle nito ang topic about sticking practices, basic groove/s, beats 4,8,16 also drum fill inns.

I know how it feels, Im also a beginner. Im glad I can help....
This is the place to be...

Drum Lessons ? Help me Decide.
« Reply #12 on: October 15, 2006, 08:39:59 PM »
Ok. After seeing numerous drum videos in youtube. I've decided to go back to taking drum lessons. I've been playing for 5 years. 2 Months of which i took drum lessons with Jun Regalado. The rest is self taught.

Now, back to topic. I've decided to take drum lessons again. But this time, I'm so stoked on who take drum lessons with. I'm thinking of going back with Sir Jun.

Any suggestions guys ?? Mar Dizon or Jun Regalado ?

better get a teacher who you already know, or have seen playing quite some time. mas ok yun. mahirap din kasi minsan sa friend, nauuwi lang sa inuman. hehehe :-D

medyo mapapamahal kung home service eh. pero kung yun talaga ang gusto mo, i suggest si sir Andre Quimpo nagbibigay ng home lessons (got the chance to talk to him last june sa pinoydrums EB3, in which he also gave a clinic). sabi niya nga na nagbibigay siya ng drum lessons at home pero around that time sabi niya medy busy siya eh. try mo ngayon...

yun nga lang di ko alam number niya or email. send an email na lang sa pinoydrums yahoogroup. active member si sir Andre doon.

peace!

Air drums is the best medicine for beginners.
When you air drum a double stroke roll 4 example, you imagine it perfectly executed!!
